Someone wanna help me please understand why my computer no longer loads win98 after the initial litestep install attempt. Im just thrilled over the whole XPerience. Or maybe if someone can direct me to the server location so i can burn it to the ground. Thanks.

In addition to what my esteemed coleagues have said, all I can say is: RTFM. Don't blame the devs for your negligence.
When all else fails, you can go back to your regular WIndows shell by editing the system.ini file.

system.ini is in your windows folder by the way. If you can't load win98 at all, boot and hold ctrl, you'll see a menu from where you should go to DOS, the type "edit c:\windows\system.ini" and change the line starting with "shell=" to "shell=explorer.exe" (just like the others said).

If your reference to 'XPerience' means you are using XP, then system.ini will not help you. XP is NT based, as is Win2000...and all three of these access the shell via the registry settings, not via sys.ini.
If this is your case, simply use a shell loader such as ShellON, which will handle the reg settings for you, and enable simple and easy switching between LiteSTEP and Exploder [if you must].
There is no need to burn servers, etc, nor is there a need to re-install Windows....just RTFM, listen and learn....

and take a look at the documentation that they have written, This will help you understand the change that has been made, how to correct it, and also warn you about making changes to the themes before you understand the structure of the litestep resource file. Litestep is a fantastic and stable shell replacement, and I have been running it a years without a single conflict, but I do recommend you read the manual before making changes.
