Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

Lilo and Stitch is one of the most original stories I have seen in a very long time. It is also completely hand animated (which most of them are mainly CG now). I really enjoyed the characters in it. The aliens were along the lines of Monsters Inc. (except for this huge onw that was like a pumped up killer whale that was the size of a mountain). It also had some "men in black" type action to it. And the two main characters, Lilo and stitch, were very original. As an example, Lilo feeds a certain fish PB sandwiches because it controls the weather. She also practices "Practical Voodoo". It is worth watching. My 3 1/2 year old absolutely loved it, and I cracked up quite a few times while watching it.

hmmm well you make it sound worth trying again, my 5 yo is really wanting to see this very badly he was so dissappointed when we had to leave, I might try again this weekend... Thanks Java

Lets turn 1200 into 2000. Besides, having got the 1000th post I'm looking forward to getting 2000th - unless someone challenges me... Any takers?

Unless there's some sort of incentive, I just can't see struggling to get post #2000. I have enough trouble achieving things that actually matter

Well, good afternoon all.

I just read something about MIT reporting an asteroid the size of a football field barely missed the earth recently. The article I read this in was about something else entirely and mentioned this asteroid thing as a sidenote. Anyone hear anything about this? What distance was "barely missed".

It came within 75,000 miles which is a lot closer to us than the moon.

I haven't been watching TV a lot lately, but I read our local paper cover to cover everyday. I would have thought this would have been covered a little more. Yikes!
