Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.
It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.
New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P
Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

When life has its foot on your neck, it's expending energy at a high rate that can't be sustained indefinitely. older folks know from long experience that the foot is going to lift, however grudgingly. some younger folk have a harder time shaking the blues because they don't know this.

Take heart, Werewolf, I was an evil child. I'm amazed my parents still speak to me. I grew out of it, of course. The worst things I've done in my adult life were getting two speeding tickets. Sometimes you just have to wait for them to grow up. It's just a bit hard to wait it out.
Glen, I thought the coffee might just make him hyper and gloomy, whereas the tea and hot chocolate seemed more like "comfort" drinks. Of course, when I get stressed, I go straight for the espresso. It really never helps, but it tastes good

I just read some more of the thread (from when I was gone) and realized that my belly button was a topic of conversation. It still needs to heal a bit, but then I will take a picture so you all can see it

Thanks for waving the wand and moving the Treehouse. All those other trees were cutting down on the view. However OC needs to have an address so that the laid off Keebler elves can deliver there boot-leg chocolate to the Chocolate Bank (don't want to run out). OC wonders where he can purchase a magic wand like felines so that he can change some peoples attitudes on the outside msgbd. What a mess. OC will now go and look at the new "digs" and have a slice of pizza, a chocolate bar, a banana dipped in coconut, and possibly a brew. Tonite OC is going to visit his granny at the nursing home and have a early Thanksgiving dinner. Be good Ye Denizens of the FantasyLand Thread. Only here it seems that sanity has regained its' rightful place. Outside this thread there seems to be Evil brewing. Until tomorrow. Old Crab is unavailable.

Well, as the msgbd hasn't been a good place to be I decided to go away and do some skinning. One is 9 bitmaps and some tweaks away from being finished, and another is done! I've got this on now testing. This one is a colour variation of my Silver Surfer skin. I like that one but wanted some other colours besides grey/silver. Kinda hard to think of new colours though. This one is somewhere between purple and blue. Any other suggestions welcome...

Fuzzy Logic had better...please... stay away from anything that resembles that..that...color between red and blue. Can't stand it or the horse it rides in on. Blue. Rich Blue. Powder Blue. The Peoples Color. I like blue. Any color will do. Except P _ _ _ _ _ . Old Crab is tierd and is going to his Treehouse and sit by the fireplace and have a relaxing pipe of his favorite go to sleep tobacco. Mac Barens Plumcake. Strange. OC doesn't remember his Treehouse having a manificent Bird-Eye Maple covered mantled fireplace. Feline I have to get a wand like yours. Must have happened by the great Transference. Whatever, my pipe and warm cocoa await. Stay safe you all. Till tomorrow and may it be better than yesterday.

OC. I like P myself - but not that bright colour which seems to abound. Best wait till later, I shall be uploading this evening. 
Problem is I can't find any icons to match. Purple ones are too purple and blue ones are too blue.

i have barely been keeping up with a couple of the threads here of late, so i have missed all the msgboard depression and nastiness!
feline is *VERY* happy about this!
still, i to have had my dealings with depressing things, so i know a thing or two about dealing with them *sigh*
werewolf - I know kids will be kids, but it's so hard when someone you love so much can lie so easily, specially about stupid trivial things. The thing itself isn't the issue, it's the lies.

the nearest thing to a positive view on this i can see at the moment is that it is part of growing up to learn to stand on your own. for children this means gaining separation from their parents, and this is part of that process.
also, in later life, lying this well is this is a depressingly necessary skill, especially at work *sad grin*
when management ask "will you meet the deadline" they don't like to hear "you are an idiot, i have already told you i cannot do 18months of work in 4 hours"
werewolf likes being wrapped in a chocolate shield...yum, yum. By the time I eat my way out, I'll be fine again. I like the metaphor.

so, perhaps we are thinking of some *spanking* and *tickling* of fuzzy logic to help the party along!!!

Do you people outside the US have a "Thanksgiving" type holiday? Stardock will be closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving (which I refer to as "turkey day"). I'm taking Wednesday off, too, because I need to make some pies. yum. Pie. Then, I'll spend the next two days eating turkey, potatoes, yams, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pies, pies, pies...... this is making me hungry...

Listen to 'em all, wolfy.. the good always outweighs the bad, when you know where to look. Things have actually been going horribly for me as well lately ... but I know I'm seeing friends this weekend, family the next, and everything will seem rosy soon enough. It will for you, too.. meanwhile, just revel in the lunacy here to distract yourself
