Msgboard Chatroom Marathon

Sunday, January 27, 2002 by Elfkura | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Honestly, I would go to IRC for this kind of stuff, but if any of you have been there recently, everyone seems to be...inactive. Sooooooooo, out of boredom, I'm turning a thread among this msgboard into a chat room, anyone care to join? =P.

It's Sunday night, and I'm bored out of my mind. There's much to do, but I'm too lazy to get around to do it. My boyfriend is busying trying to get Visual Studios to work so I can't talk to him on the phone....and we can't seem to talk over the phone anyways...it'll just be silence mostly.

New Semester started........so anyone alive out there to join Elffie in this chat marathon? =P

Let's try not to let this post hang for over 2 hours, hm? =P

Fuzzy Logic - So when are we having this belly button party?

the plan is as soon as the hunting parties return with fuzzy logic, and JavaBean, along with everyone else is available

you wouldn't happen to know where the star of the parties entertainment is hiding would you?

Hummm, not seen KarmaBrain since the weekend. Where is she when we need cuddles?

Fuzzy Logic thinks KarmaBrain is hiding her belly button in case we all want one

OC: The chocolate bank is located in the root system

goodmorphing hopes that bank is one that specializes in withdrawals and doesn't expect a lot of deposits...

the Espresso pot is always chugging away with fresh cream for cappuccinos

goodmorphing ***OOOOOOO*** OC is like having Santa Claus living up your tree!

Runs for a clean cup

OC: To the citizens of the MSGBD the key is by the second root under the 5th pink mushroom on the left.

goodmorphing rushes over to check that mushroom out... are pink mushrooms edible?

OC: Good night and have a safe and pleasant tomorrow.

Thank you OC. You too. Thanks for the goodies and welcome!

goodmorphing leaves OC some bananas and coconuts....for welcoming.

I'm keeping all the carrots to myself! goodmorphing is thinking of making a vegetable garden in here.

goodmorphing is getting impatient... maybe we have to send out a hunting party hunting party?

OC:Forgot about the Grand Pizza Oven. Second floor.

goodmorphing gets all excited... PIZZA!

OC: Check your keys if you go to the second floor.

goodmorphing *sad sigh* doesn't have keys. No keys = No second floor pizza?

Werewolf: haven't seen KarmaBrain's belly button, not sure yet if I'd want one or not

goodmorphing studies werewolf...

Hmmmmmmm, I never thought about a werewolf bellybutton before.

goodmorphing tries to imagine a werewolf bellybutton ring.... It would be extra long, and dangly, and really, really shiney. The first part, under all the fur, would be like a little chain. And then there would be a big orb... a Moonlike orb... And maybe wolfie could let us see our fortunes in there!

hmmm First JM asks what is wrong with us because he cannot understand us. goodmorphing thought nothing is wrong with us. I am sorry if you cannot understand us, but that is you. You have every right not to understand us. Just as much is not wrong with you as is not wrong with us. It is a big world and there is enough stress, strife, and worry everywhere else. Here you can play.

BKB: My translator showed me this. "jam - I cannot understand those also. those did not see me now, and I can remain longer here and observe a little."

I saw JM and I see you. You can stay long or short and watch or not. You can call us wrong because you cannot understand, or you can relax and play with us some, sometimes that works out to be the best way of understanding people... to talk with them, play with them, give them a chance. I still think it is a big, beautiful, free world. I hope if you watch some, you will feel free to stay and play some. You are welcome to, if you want.

This little thread of ours is built on peace, harmony, friendship, good fellowship, trust... stuffs like that. Oh, and some fantasy. It seems that sometimes everywhere those concepts are hard to understand. I wish that were not so.

GM - i was smiling good-naturedly ear-to-ear when i wrote what i wrote - i think you guys are great, but the flow and directional quick changes here can be confusing to the novice! Never take a texan too seriously when he's speaking a foreign language, especially if it's english! My natural learning style is overwhelmingly visual, and that's why i frequently sit quietly and watch life for a while before joining in. I too believe in "peace, harmony, friendship, good fellowship, trust... stuffs like that". Fantasy also. Having said that, i'm going to retrieve my scalp, bid you Good Night and good chocolate hunting, and go back to my DB skin.

Then you will fit right in here with the rest of us! Lots of us here are visual people.... there is nothing wrong with that. When I first visited the thread I felt a little overwhelmed too (feline had to abduct me here with chocolate handcuffs). It seems to get easier if you forget all that and just jump in and rub sholders.

But we're a friendly bunch here and when we read that people think they have been bounced from our thread, or that people think something is wrong with us... well naturally we (or I) tend to get into some self-examining to see what we (or I) did wrong to make everyone think we are so unfriendly. Sometimes I try really hard to be friendly and it just all comes out wrong.

Heck... sometimes even just HUMAN seems a foreign language to me... I get it wrong lots. That's when you find me hiding in here the most. So you (and your scalp) are welcome to play with us anytime. and don't be afraid of any furriness test... that's all just part of the fun.
