Trillian vs Odingo

Have been doing a bit of comparison between these 2 programs. Thought I would ask the "gallery" about their opinions and input..You are a knowledgable group of people whose input I trust, for the most part!

Odigo is not bad for novice users, but feature for feature doesn't compare favorably to Trillian. Last time I checked, Odigo doesn't support IRC or group chat as Trillian does. Odigo has some "cool", but not very practical features, such as showing you other Odigo users who are currently on the same web page as you...cute, but not very useful. Odigo also requires you to download and install additional plug-ins for it to support AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc.....already built into Trillan. Trillian also has a very active community in which the developers are very involved, which is always nice.

One thing to keep in mind is that when you are using the feature where Odigo shows you other users at a site (and maybe even when you are not, I haven't used it in a while) Odigo tracks what websites you visit and sends this information back to Odigo aka spyware.

I try to stay wary of such spyware issues, privacy issues these days are paramount in my opinion.
