Having problem with "Edit Account"

Tuesday, June 29, 2004 by Lady Aarielle | Discussion: Stardock Software

When I go to "edit account" and then to "upload / edit your desktop image" it behaves as if it has uploaded the new picture, but does not change it.

Also, it shows one picture ( a much older one) in "edit account and a different one when I click on my name in the message boards.

Anyone have a clue what's going on?

OK...click on my profile. Double click on the pic and then use the maximize button on the pic to make full screen. Hit Print Scr on the keyboard and paste in Paint, name it something, save as jpeg, and then upload it to your profile

ok I did it.

But as usual I can't tell if it uploaded it or not. I'm still seeing the previous one even when I click on it for the close up.

I also noticed that when I pasted it in paint it was not filling the whole thing.

Can you see it? I uploaded it three times... that's why I took so long but it never changed for me.

Demensions: 1280x967
and I have no clue whose demensions those would be.

What is your monitor resolution? Look in Display Properties if you don't know....

It says 1024 by 768 pixels.

Is that what you wanted?

Yup....open Paint and under View/Zoom/Custom...change to 100%. Now do another song and dance with your desktop and upload it.

It says current zoom is at 100%.
You want me to go higher?

No...click on 'Normal' right above it...

Oh...you'll have to click on a higher value to get the 'Normal' available.....
