What new toys have ye?
Show and Tell

OK I am not usually a show off but I am as happy as a kid in a candy store with my new Milwaukee tools. Part of my job is building decks with my uncle and I had been using Hitachi tools. I decided it was time to invest in quality so I got this set. The only thing is in spite my uncle having his own tools he likes to use mine. I guess he will just have to continue using the Hitachi stuff because this is mine!

Eek...all of those....I think I have the one far right...foreground...and that was about 500 on its own.
Corded drill is a DeWalt SLS ....has so much grunt it [inadvertently] drilled happily into HW in reverse.....![]()

Then you have a nice Sawzall. Just add a drill to it.

Dewalt are good tools too but I always like Milwaukee for their warranty. Plus they have the best batteries in the business. Their new red lithium batteries are a next generation lithium battery with more power and run time. Not to mention you can freeze them and they still work, something us Canadians like.
No we don't like to freeze our batteries ![]()

Thanks Doc. I have gloves and goggles in my toolbox and always wear the goggles when cutting wood.
Where are everyone else's new purchases? I did not intend this to be just about me. Show off your new car or boat or even those new shoes.

TP-Link TD-W8960N ADSL2+ Wireless Modem Router.
Since getting the el-cheapo Lappy I figured the price of this was even better [it was given to me]... gives a better signal than the old W-less router.

I got this for mrs S the other day....

... which might've been a mistake.
.... piccies being posted of me.
I can see it now... Doc with his tongue hanging out in glee at the 'shopping' opportunities it will present him.
Never mind, I have a resident 'shopper' who will assist I in extracting revenge.

Starkers thats a great looking camera. I have been thinking about a new camera purchase myself.

Heigar I almost bought the Makita set because it had a cordless jigsaw and grinder but it was double the price of what I paid for the Milwaukee set. Plus I have a Dewalt corded jigsaw and a grinder so thought I would save myself some cash. I bought a Milwaukee 2 piece 5 years ago (drill and impact driver) and gave it to my father. Its still going strong so I have a lot of confidence in Milwaukee stuff.
