Idea for a European meeting

In the last couple of days an idea was born to try to get the European skinning community together.
The idea is not to make it a full blown convention, but to the make it an informal gathering. The people I spoke to often know each other for a long time, but have met on the internet only. They feel it would be fun to meet each other face to face.
Problem with an international meeting is in which European country do we hold such a meeting? A lot of European skinners/developpers/users come from the UK, but a lot of others come from different European countries like Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy and Poland (to name a few).
I have spoken with some of you and we feel that Belgium would be a great place to hold that meeting. Belgium is a central place for most Europeans and better still the food is great and its beer is the best in the world
And oh, I know that you all want to stay in your home country, but can we for once drop such a discussion and agree that Belgium is the country to hold the meeting? Saves us a lot of talk. Let's focus on the fun
Mind you, I am not from Belgium.
Another aspect is what date would be the best. A lot of people may already have appointments in the near future, so I feel that doing it overnight is not a good idea. How about the end of october? You will have enough time to create a space in your agenda.
Since a lot of people need to travel, it would be best to do it in a weekend, so that we can book a hotel for one or two nights.
The people that are interested so far in such a meeting are Alberto (Italy), Yoran (France), pjpowell (UK), GreenReaper (UK) and me (the Netherlands).
There is some organization involved and I am willing to do that.
How about it? Will you join us? Any suggestions?

Doreen: The first one is a picture of the ruins of an old Castle. We have that one on the list, just in case someone couldn't effort the five star hotel.

nah five star not worth the money to put your foot through the front door...
air is always thick in there, unless you are a very wealthy skinner and totally into Dress to Impress!
I'd love to check out that castle, now that looks like some fun! hehe
