IE9 + WB

Neil,
Any Eta on when we will have full fledged skinning of IE9?
As of now, really most skins, and any truly dark skin looks quite awful.
As of now, u cant really use most WB skins + IE9 and be satisfied with WB. Not much point in skinning the arrows when the rest of it looks terrible.
So, for now, I myself, shall imagine it doesn't exist, and expect users of my WB's to be FireFox patrons.

I hope I'm not intruding but I use IE 9 in it's minimal form. Only one bar, back and forward arrows on the left hand side, next the address section followed by open tabs and then on the far right the three icons. The three icons give me everything I need. The tabs are getting colored but the arrows are butt ugly.
I've not used IE 9 in any other configuration then this. Is it in the expanded mode where the skinning problems are?
EDIT: If you take a look at the screenshots for the Suites Edge, Cadiz or Daily and look at the middle desktop you will see what I am talking about.

Well, butt ugly designed and colored tabs.
My current wb's toobar text and address bar text is light blue over light blue toolbar and white address bar background, just to name a couple of things.
Completely unusable.
We need toolbar background image control and text color control... for starters.

Agreed. If you have to use colors for text, elements, etc. for the sake of usability that don't match the blind's color scheme....what's the point.

Skinning browsers ain't what they used to be. And don't get me started about Chrome. No skinning capabilities whatsoever. Fail.
At least IE 7/8, Maxthon 2/3 (to some extent), & Pale Moon can make good use using a WB theme. FF & MX2 look best with 3rd party themes provided on their respective sites. IE (and most certainly Chrome) do not have any 3rd party themes.

Imo, Ie9 is a Dog... badly designed all around. These people at M$ act like they are on crack with some of the junk they have been releasing recently. (Windows Live 2011)

Try Chrome. You won't go back to IE

That's what I've using for a good two or three weeks now. Won't go back to IE or Firefox. I also have Opera but none of them works as well as Chrome. Maybe it isn't skinned as good as it could be but boy it sure works well.

Is there a way to revert back to IE8? Like uninstalling IE9 on Windows 7?

From what I understand IE is integrated in the OS. You can disable it but not uninstall it.

You can uninstall IE9. Go to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features. Choose "view installed updates" at the left.
Find IE9 in the list and uninstall. It will reboot you and you'll have IE8 when you return.

Oh, and right click IE9 in windows update and choose hide update, so you don't get it back by accident.

Thanks, RND. Been wanting to roll back to IE8 and keep updates from happening browser-wise. Cool.

As an aside, I realize that IE9 already looks like crap all by itself.. im just saying, being able to un-crap it or at least make it usable would be greatly appreciated.
Enter.. IE10.... i know, i know..
