And out to the left is the Empire State...
TAS 142 knots [close to stall]....Alt 386 feet [U/C warning on].... A Thud isn't ideal for sight-seeing.... glides like a brick.
Manhattan...$30 add-on for FSX .... and it looks great.

Is that the same cockpit you've been working on Paul?

Never seen what it looks like in the drivers seat of a plane.   Must say, it's dizzying.   How can one tell if something goes wrong? There are only 200 gauges in a 2'x2' area.    Amazing Jafo.

Web...yes, it's an F105D Thunderchief....circa '68 ['Nam].

IROKONESS....they're a little bit 'Volvo'.... lots of idiot lights.... the thing on the right that says 'altitude' is telling you you are too low.....as if looking out the window won't.  It's called an annunciator panel.

The red light that says 'wheels' is telling you you don't have any sticking out of the bottom of your plane....and the yellow light near the middle is a 'Decision height' warning.....that is asking you to make up your bloody mind....are you gonna land or not?....as you are low and don't have any wheels sticking out.

The ribbon gauges were a [then] new trick which were easier to read than radial dials....

So learn 1 gadget at a time aye Jafo?  And a precious few rule the roost, so to speak.   Still very impressive.
