book of shadows desktop widget

Id like to make a book of shadows desktop widget, basically everyday the page will turn and a new spell will be present,
is this possible? and what program would I need, and is it a widget or a desktop gadget?
I will probably need help with coding too..... im looking your way eve.....

I did something close to this with a radio widget. It was a Christian station I linked it to and it would display Bible verses in it's main window and I could adjust the frequency with which they changed.
Still, nothing beats my iZuba-Meter! With inspirational messages from the man himself.
*Yes, it is an actual widget and working.
