Idea for new site

What I was thinking is that people who use Windows, and want a forum to bash *nix users should have somewhere to go. How does Backslashdot sound?

But seriously, there are a lot of immature people in ./, that are usually balanced by other user comments "cool off, hotshot".
I do think you'd be hard-pressed to find many technically-savvy users who think Windows (as an OS) carries some major enhancements over *nix, and linux in particular. except comfortable GUI, MAYBE.

Let me ask you this:
say the army has decided to make all of its fighting vehicles - planes, ships, tanks - completely automatic, and run by computer software. They are in a debate whether to choose NT or Linux/*nix...What would you choose?
This is no science fiction - The US navy has one experimental, completely un-manned warship run by NT - The U.S.S. Yorktown. And they have already lost connection with it for several hours at some point.
For desktop apps, w2k is it, that is true.
oh oh - this thread is becoming /. like...

Just like Mac zealots Linux zealots are in small numbers compared to the amount of computer users out there. This is one of the reasons they get so goofy about their respective OS's. Those in the minority tend to yell the loudest. You'll find that most Windows users couldn't care less about the OS and just use the computer as a tool to get things done. Dunno how popular a "*nix bashing" website would be.
Also do understand that one of the reasons the /. community has such a loud voice is the sheer magnitude of the site. It's one of the largest out there. You'd be pretty hard pressed to get that much of a following to any new website, much less a "scr3w l1nuX, w1nd0ze r00lz" type of gig.
