This update brings:

It's interesting that one of the updates is improved compability with the Firefox betas, since for me, after installing it, the betas (both 6 and 7) die right off the bat when launched. Only completely excluding it in Windowblinds allows it to run at all.

And both worked fine for me with the previous version of Windowblinds.

(Win 7 64bit).

Oh well

If that does not help then please post your video card information.  If it did then please let me know if D3DX10_41.dll is in your WB folder + the 64 sub folder.

We are aware of a problem with graphics cards which cannot do DirectX10 where firefox is painting black, but even that does not cause a crash.

Updating DX worked.

And that dll is in both folders.

Thanks

Is your copy of firefox a 32 bit or 64 bit one?  A 32 bit one should show a *32 in the processes tab in taskmanager.

It's just the 32 bit version.

Might try the 64 version at some point, though.

Bravo Neil! I was just going to open a post to ask about FF4 compatibility (I'm designing themes for Firefox so I noticed the problems). The problems started since the new app-button appeared on the upper window-frame. So what about older versions of WB, they all cannot use FF4 I guess. I had to disable skinning FF because the app-button gets covered by the window-frame. I'll probably update soon, what about a special offer for making it easier?...Anyway, thanks for your wonderful work!

Chrome still does not work with WB in XP.  Any page with flash embed hangs.

Coloring of Skin elements was working before the update, after the update and reboot my recolored skin now has default colored Buttons, tho now it recolors the items I had textured. Seems to have over ridden texture colors also..
