By the last update do you mean this did not happen with the previous 7.19 beta?

Correct. The 7.19 I did not have this problem. I am getting this with the 7.19a update.

I went through all the skins again to see if they were doing the same thing. I got to the Diamond skin and it seemed like it was having a hard time loading it. The screen flickered and WB was not responding. Then it applied the skin. Now they all are working fine. But the 2 Naked skins still have the black in them. As you can see I lost transparency in the backgrond.

I found out what was causing it. If I use "Active Window Opacity" I get the black. Using transparency on any part of the skin doesn't do it (ie startmenu, taskbar, pop up menus).

ALMonty: This issue should be resolved in the next beta.
2of3: We are still looking into your issue.

Thank you, Neil. Changing the blend mode of the font seems to make a difference, but it shouldn't be necessary and it causes all kinds of problems with text margins.

Well I have reverted to WB 7.1 until Neil sorts out my issue.....no biggie

Strange, I still get the same issues (blurry text) when using WB 7.1 with Babylon Theta skin. Affected programs i. e.: context menu of USB-Safely Remove and menu of Softmaker Office. Sometimes the context menu of foobar has strange zig-zag lines like this (does not happen with all skins):
Any advise on these issues? Thanks...!
Edit: typo

Those strange zig zags show up from time to time. I have seen it happen now and then even way back on WB5. A reboot seems to clear it up

Thankyou!!! I've been waiting for glass support since Vista, i think i'll start working on some skins again.
One other thing I'd really fancy is to be able to use bitmap masks for the blur area in the start menu etc... cause when I try to put nice big shadows on my skins they get blurred to.

Applying any texture causes any magic pink in the systray bitmap overlying the taskbar image to display as black. Select 'None' & reload the skin & the image displays correctly.

Sadly this latest update still doesn't fix the disappearing tray arrow on 7.
