And you also have some cool 'Media' Internal Commands which you can add to a dock or Shelf and use to control WinAmp/Windows Media Player.
Other internal commands can power off your monitors, or start your screen saver on demand, open/close your CD-ROM doors (how lazy can you get?!), clear your Recent Documents list, etc... there are a lot of them, some more useful than others. ![]()

JcRabbit,
Is there a way to get two (2) Dock-nexus at the bottom and still hide them off screen
I have Respect space reserved by other docks, too;bars and screen objects. Un-check but it still reserved, and won't let me have two (2) at bottom
and hide off screen... it will but only the floating dock and it only Collapses...
and if I chose to un-check Dock to edge then I don't get to hide the dock off screen it collapses ..

Exactly the same issue I have had.
I wanted to use the workshelf to replace my OD tabbed dock and have that and the nexus dock docked at the top.

VERY nice! I barely caught the deal once I got back in town from vacation. Thanks! ![]()

I bought Winstep Xtreme (with Nexus and Start Menu Organizer) for a while and it ROCKS.

Sorry guys, having only one dock per screen edge is indeed a limitation that is going to be removed in the next release of Nexus Ultimate/Winstep Xtreme (which, if it's any consolation, will also feature optional horizontal sub-docks, a native Stacks applet, and the ability to have the dock mimic the "superbar" ability of Windows 7 - which the NextSTART component already does for a long time, by the way - with animated group thumbnails, aero peek, etc...). Just watch this video of NextSTART here for a preview of the latter.
But I may have a work-around: Winstep docks don't have to be tied to a screen edge, they can be turned into floating docks which you can then position anywhere on the screen, and, obviously, even side-by-side with other floating docks (or a docked dock). Only drawback is that it won't auto-hide into a screen edge, but rather collapse into a single control icon.

JcRabbit,
Thanks for the help..
Thanks I had try this and when I moved the Floating dock from the left side to the right side when clicking on the Control icon it did not re-orientate it's self
what I mean is the dock still opens to the right which makes it not able to have by the right edge cause when opening, all but the Control icon goes off edge
one question
I got the offer for the nexus dock (Nexus Ultimate) If need be like having to reinstall the OS would I still be able to reinstall Nexus Ultimate or is it
only good for one time install... thanks

Ah, good catch! I was thinking that perhaps I could solve that quickly by making Nexus evaluate the distance from both edges and then expand into whichever direction has more room (a bit like the sub-docks do) but for this to work properly the Nexus control icon would have to be able to reside on either side of the dock. Doing that would mean changing a LOT of code, unfortunately, as Nexus currently expects the control icon, when it exists, to always be the first (leftmost) icon on the dock.
Of course, doing the above might be workable if you set the dock not to display a control icon, in which case it will only appear when the dock is collapsed (so you have something to click on to uncollapse it). But then, you wouldn't be able to collapse the dock manually.
Sigh.
Only good for a one time install, sorry. GAOTD wraps the setup of the programs they offer on their site with a setup of their own which will only work on the day of the promotion. On the other hand, you do have the heavilly discounted upgrades to the next release of Nexus Ultimate (and all the releases after that for a whole year) or even to Winstep Xtreme. ![]()

Please don’t forget to uninstall Nexus Ultimate first. Since both programs share the same folder structures, themes, etc, (only the executables and some themes are different), you will corrupt your Winstep Xtreme installation if you try to uninstall later.
This said, if you have already installed Xtreme on top of Nexus Ultimate, this is very easy to sort:
1. Make sure Nexus Ultimate is not running (exit it if it is).
2. Go to C:\Program Files\Winstep\ (or C:\Program Files (x86)\Winstep\ if running a 64 bit system) and delete the nexus-ultimate.exe executable file.
3. Done!
I overlooked this, Jorge, so you can disregard the email...lol. But I did as you said, and nextstart still won't load....reinstalling now.

And this is what happens because this forums don't have a 'watch this topic' or 'send notifications of new replies by email'. ![]()
Still having this problem? Open the General tab of NextSTART Preferences and make sure 'Run NextSTART at Windows startup' is enabled.

And with all of that they don't tell you it's a trial version. Yup...got that annoying pop up that says you have this much time left before it becomes non-functional. I got rid of it.

I've found this to be a great program...definitely well worth the price it sells for. ![]()

I think you maybe had a borked installation somehow, Uvah. No one else has noticed nor complained about having your problem....
Too bad because it's such a terrific app!
Why don't you email Jorge...he wouldn't let you hang that way. Try support@winstep.net and describe the problem you encountered. I really am tremendously satisfied with Jorge's support. ![]()

That's how I got mine! It's only good for one day though, then they don't offer it anymore. I love it!

Sorry, only noticed this now because RedneckDude pointed to this old thread in 'Meter themes/icons in Nexus Ultimate'. The WC forums REALLY could do with a 'watch this thread' setting. Anyway...
Are people so used to unresponsive tech support departments that they don't even bother trying to contact them before taking action?
The GOTD version required you to get a serial number on the day of the promotion (this was clearly stated on the README file, but don't feel bad, you weren't the only one who chose to ignore it). Without the serial number, the GOTD version of Nexus Ultimate would run as a trial, as you have discovered. There are plenty of good reasons to do things this way, which I won't get into detail here because they have to do with copy protection of the software (Nexus Ultimate is NOT free, but commercial software, after all).
Another enforcement of the GOTD promotion (and this applies to every software they promote on their web site) is that it can only be installed on the day of the promotion. If you need to re-install at a later date, you will have to purchase the full version of the software. This is where Winstep delievered above and beyond most other software listed at GOTD, in that it allowed you to upgrade to Winstep Xtreme for only $14.95 or to the regular version of Nexus Ultimate (which you can re-install whenever you want and offers you 1 full year of free upgrades) for only $12.50. But for this you need to have the GOTD version of Nexus Ultimate installed, registered, and running.
Every user who contacted Winstep support with the same problem as you, or formated their PCs and wanted to re-install Nexus Ultimate, were offered the above deal. Most jumped at it, as they realized that a) it was their own mistake not having read the README and
it is a GREAT deal, considering Nexus Ultimate costs $24.95 and Winstep Xtreme $39.90. Interesting fact is that, from the small minority that didn't, some got as far as insulting me personaly, even though they had nobody else to blame but themselves for not following the instructions.
