1.02 RC1

x-Repaired all known handle leaks! Major fix x-Icon size sliders no longer snap to preset values, you are free to choose any size.

x-high probability that firefox freezing on activate problem has been fixed.

x-100% CPU when using nVidia's VWM "nView". This has been fixed.

x-Taskbar reshowing when its supposed hidden, most often during flashing on dual displays: this has been fixed.

x-Taskbar on zoomer not displaying right x-Calendar refreshed (yes, I know we need to tweak the image alignment

slightly)

x-Clock docklets consolidated

Things not addressed:

-combing through weather docklet code

-zoomer dock being unhappy when completely empty -old separator remaining when switching to a new zoomer dock without one (not sure if this is a problem

still)

-100% cpu condition with power meter (nvidia fixes might help) -report of no fonts for tab labels -report of forgetting to stay always on top -we're not seeing the 100% transparent issue with the zoomer dock here so far, is it still happening for people?

There will be another RC build or two next week, but we're in buttoning up mode with major things right now. No new features until after official release.

Strange: the version 1.02 RC1 ObjectDock.exe date stamp is August 7th but "About" says "Beta 2", "Build 466"...
Any explanations?

Great program. But one problem that needs fixing is the repositioning 'glitch'. I have mine set up on the bottom right (above taskbar), but this happens wherever it is, and when I go into a game or app that changes the resolution the dock moves. Whe I come back out it will have repositioned, to what I assume is the same place but on that other resolution (I have 1680 x 1050 widescreen, most commonly use 1024 x 768 or 1280 x 1024 in games). Not a big deal to move it back but it's annoying, it needs to "lock-down" as the original objectdock standard never did this.

for some reason in this build of object dock plus, i have issues switching from one tab to the next, i have to click on a tab like ten times to get it to change....this didnt happen in beta 3 any suggestions?

The resources in the binary weren't updated. 466 is the RC1 build.

Agh?! No "Lock Add/Remove" option? Either I'm blind like a crazy beaver or please Stardock add that option. I have accidently dragged shortcuts (and thus deleting them) from my dock numerous times now, and it's very frustrating (yeah, I'm kind of clumsy )

rc1 is realy good. but 2 thinks:

could it be possible that i can have taskbar und systemtray-icon in one dock?

2. could it be possible that i can right-click on a systemtray and could say that i want this image for that system-tray icon for ever?

if yes, it would be fantastic

If you left click and hold the mouse button down on a system tray icon you can change its image


Oh and by the way i love OD Plus

i've found a bug.

i don't displayed the windows sound-icon in the systemstray.

but if i return from hypernation objectdock plus rc1 displays a empty tray-icon on dock.

I'm having the dock on top of games issue also - although I suppose if it's set to always on top, it's gonna try to get on top of games, too... I had a nasty crash, though - I was repositioning an icon on my tabbed dock and accidentally let go of it when it wasn't over the dock and it caused an access violation that brought the whole system down - as in restart with power button - very messy! On the whole I'm very happy with OD Plus, though and will likely use it all the time once the wrinkles are smoothed out. Keep up the good work, guys!

I've some tabbed docks (2: one Traybar, one with 3 tabs) acting as drawers from the borders of my screen... Annoying to see the tabs while watching a DVD movie in full screen mode... But I want to see them when using windowed apps.
This is a suggestion.

I don't know that we'll be able to do anything about the DVD movies in fullscreen. As for the games, what are some specific games that its having trouble with? Do you have it set to always on top?

For some reason, OD+ crashes after running for a time on my machine "encounters error and needs to close".

I have installed the latest update to OD+ (RC2):

The sys tray tab now works fine

I still can not use the default icon in the exe for some programs e.g. MS Word, Photoshop. If I have a tabbed dock click on an icon and use Dock entry properties > change image I can't change the image by browsing and ing the exe!
