WINDOWBLIND TUTORIAL PART 1 The start menu
Monday, May 31, 2010 by Vampothika | Discussion: Skinning
Hi guys,
we have had some requests about learning how to make window blinds, some of the tuts out there are a bit dated and hard to understand,
so Im putting together a series of extremly easy to follow and understand tutorials focused on how to make a windowblind from beginning to end.
If anyone has questions, please ask! or if anyone has suggestions....do tell us, the more secrets we crank out the better.
Tomorrows tutorial will look at painting margins, startmenu font, username font, margin seperators, all programs arrow and the log off buttons.

I've already copied this to my HD. But, Stardock will surely archive this. Those guys have more at stake in the future of skinning than anyone.

I am all ready for lesson Two. I could never get this far without Kitty's tutorial. Good thing today was a holiday here, because it took me most of the day to get a start menu going, even with step by step instructions. This is giving me a new appreciation for the skinners level of dedication.

That completes the startmenu tutorial. I will starting the next tutorial, uis frames, perpixel frames, uis buttons and perpixel buttons in a few days time. This will give people who are following and skinning at the same time a chance to ask questions and or catch up

Kitty,
Each time you finish another part is there anyway the graphics can be zipped so he one doesn't have to be saved and printer. Just asking as I know it's extra work.

Really cool tutorial, and looking at the start panel, it looks like it's going to be a really nice blind too!
