Animated desktop wallpapers are absolutely new product that isn’t widespread yet . I think it looks really nice and the sound is pretty cool too....but it is WELL overpriced!(Even with the whole pack for $17 it would be steep)

also wondered why we have an "advertisement" on the front page of Wincustomize. I sincerely doubt this is a partner of Stardock. This info belonged in the message board, not the front page, IMHO.

Boy, I'd like to see some of you pro's at creating OD stuff do some themes like those. That's pretty slick. The "aquarium" them I built out of all the DX objects is really cool, the wife loves it but if we could get some stuff to put together like those backgrounds and animations, folks that aren't so technical would start to really love DX.

The issue isn't reallt that it's hard to achieve this using DX, it's rather the graphics talent that's required. I could create an animated wall paper in seconds if I had top quality graphics, however, I couldn't create a photorealistic waterfall !!

This wallpaper is for (big) Office use i guess. People over there are organizing their desktops very often 
They have time to kill.
Funny, disable ActiveX and you just see a grey desktop. If you have 2 Monitors it is abolute BS.
And 17$ for a Wallpaper
, this is boldness.
2 or 3 scripts and you have an nice animated desktop with collusion detection and whatever.
But, nice try.
BTW. This Company is making money with this, they don't give their work away for free like most of us do here. The most impressive part for me is making a business out of it. Respect. Maybe just the wrong place to advertise it.
