so i notice that i made a systray dock only, but when i make it small the background image is cut off, anything under 40px icon size

Yes I noticed that as well but forgot to report it. Yes, only some of the backgrounds are cut off.
Doing a bit of testing, seems more like the positioning of the icons or rather the background is off.

Ok all of this appears to be related to the icons reflections.

The "Silver Fox" background is placed with the bottom edge about halfway UP from the bottom of the icons. Where as the "BlackOps 3D" background is positioned with the top edge almost at the bottom of the icons.

Bug3: Check out the circle, what is up with the reflections.

BUG4: Again related to reflections, 1st image any background that would display reflections is doing this, 2nd Image is located near the top of my screen rather than the bottom:

1. I'd like to see pinned icon be added to a dock

2. Open programs should be on the right of the startmenu  docklet.

3. The startmenu docklet should stay where I put it (who wants to hunt for it)

4. Icons created by Steam will only show the Steam icon not the games icon (did this in old version also) If you add them to a dock the all look the same.

5 would like to see the quick launch bar act more like win 7 task bar if possible with previews for multbly open windows. (I like thenew win 7 task bar behavior )

Preview only shows one app even if there are two or more. Again more like win 7please Maybe  I should stick with win 7

my laptop is running windows 7 ultimate x86, 4gb of ram, core 2 duo t9500 2.6, and gf 8600m gt, but it runs like crapola, i even changed to only 256mb, lowest quality, looks and runs the same.  maybe it's not actually chaning those options?

Similar here: Dell Precision M6400, QX9300 CPU at 2.53GHz, 8 GB RAM, nVidia Quadro FX3700M, and the performance is typically quite slow and choppy, though not always so.  But the sputtering makes it not only visually not so appealing, but also makes it harder to predict and use.  I'm more productive with it off, at the moment.

This has got to be a matter of some sort of idiosyncratic incompatibility or conflict somewhere--more than enough horsepower to run it 10 times over at full speed, I'd think.

I don't play games that much on this system, but when I do, involving graphical tasks orders of magnitude more challenging than OD2, I've no problems.

Since games are run by starting steam, they always show the Steam icons as default.  I had to go in and change the icons by right clicking, edit icon, and changing the icon to the one in the related directory for the game in the steam\steamapps directory. Also some very nice icon collections here for many games old and new.  (Not sure if there is a way to fix this, since games under steam are run using steam.exe -####### where the ### is some numbering system for each game created by Valve.)

In the style/color settings, all my tabs are invisible (under the Tab Colors section) unless I click on them (didn't even know anything was supposed to be there). I don't have any of the tabs colored so I think that's the problem. Speaking of which, what happened to the "None" option for the tab colors? Also, what's with the solid window frame?

On the pluses, love the new blur option, can match the WB skin now.

Quoting MichaelG04, reply 90what type of performance should we be getting?  it doesn't perform very well from what i can tell, are there recommending specs?  things we can do to improve performance?  i don't see much.
Check your memory setting under "program settings->performance settings"  might help out. default was to use only 256 mb. Also some of the settings in that section have to do with speed of zooming and autohide.

Not sure how to measure performance...checked with FRAPS and am getting roughly 30 fps...but with a qcore machine, 64 bit Win7 and 4 gigs ram i would be upset if it was choking.

I am running similar specs on my Dell M1530 and I am not getting any slowdowns or hicups. It runs smooth as butter.  It also runs really good from inside my VM I use for work/coding.

Perhaps you could elaborate more about what performance issues you are seeing.

1. Color font for weather docklet (actually, should be a rule for developers of any "monitor" docklets as we may get background of the same color as text is):

2. Ability to open files from desktop/folders by droping them on application icons in the dock. Iirc, that ability was in OD 1.9 so i hope it will be returned in further releases of the new version.

3. It would be nice to let users play with free space size between icons, icons and reflections (currently icons look a bit too close to each other and reflection line maybe too close under the icons).

4. Build-in (or developer-supported docklet) stacks.

5. Preview.

So far I really like 2.0.  I'd like to see the My Document, My Videos, etc folders point to the Libraries in Windows 7 instead of the Users folders.  Also, it would be great if OD would be able to do the preview windows like the Win7 taskbar.  If so, I'm sure a lot of people would hide the Windows taskbar altogether.

The issue with dual-monitors and seperators still exists in 2.0

see https://forums.wincustomize.com/368199/#2580285 for more info.

it runs really really slow, especially if i use the taskbar show open windows, then it's dog slow.  i was planning on reformatting anyways as i seem to have an issue with multiplicity lag as well, and i haven't been able to fix it.  although, if my vid card is dying this could also be the cause.

Running OD2 on:
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.75GHz
RAM - 4GB
VC - XFX NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT

Runs very smooth for me.

Steam issues:

4. Icons created by Steam will only show the Steam icon not the games icon (did this in old version also) If you add thme to a dock the all look the same.

Another person (can't find the quote) reported right click on systray icon doesn't bring up menu associated with that icon.

I'm having an issue with starting Steam based programs.  Tab based shortcuts either created through Steam or created from the exe itself fail to run unless Steam is closed and allowed to be opened by the program shortcut. This is a new behavior from previous version as I had many Steam shortcuts that worked prior to update.

Just as an aside (I guess a wish would be more like it;) ), is there going to be a 64 bit version or just a 32 bit version that runs properly under 64 bit?

u can drag the library folders to the OD bar, or is it something else you are actually trying to do?  i just went to libraries, and dragged my libraries documents folder to it, seems to work

My OD2+ performance improved a bit--only a bit, but noticeably--after I closed the Logitech SetPoint software that came with my VX Revolution mouse.  Still choppy, but less so.  FWIW, I've noticed that bringing up the OD2+ Settings window is really slow, taking several seconds to appear (maybe 5?), then then stuttering badly in any interaction.

Are you expecting it to need more than 2GB of memory?
