here is something funny about the missing flyout menus, there is still an option for it in additional advanced options
Reply #84 Wednesday, March 31, 2010 1:09 PM
how do you back up your config? this option also seems to be missing, thats not good.

I just upgraded to the beta and noticed that the Run as Administrator option has gone when you right click an icon.
How can I get this back?
Im using Windows 7.

Guys,
Relax a bit. This is a BETA. How about reporting the bugs and not all the missing features you miss/want. ![]()

well, if we could get some sort of planned features list, then at least we would know it's coming.

what type of performance should we be getting? it doesn't perform very well from what i can tell, are there recommending specs? things we can do to improve performance? i don't see much.

Backing up topic:
Under Program settings->troubleshooting there is a button that takes you to the setting folder so you can HAND COPY the files elsewhere! WOOHOO! Serioulsy, this is a feature that will be 'upgraded' to an automatic backup in final release, right?

Check your memory setting under "program settings->performance settings" might help out. default was to use only 256 mb. Also some of the settings in that section have to do with speed of zooming and autohide.
Not sure how to measure performance...checked with FRAPS and am getting roughly 30 fps...but with a qcore machine, 64 bit Win7 and 4 gigs ram i would be upset if it was choking.

Suggestions:
Tabbed Docks should have a minimum vertical size based on number of tabs. Currently, can vertically shrink dock to a point where tabs are difficult to use or access. (thought about screen wide, skinny drawers/tabs on tabs with larger number of icons
)
Is there a way to change the fonts in the tabbed docks? I've tried changing the overall fonts in OD, as well as the fonts in Windows. neither had an effect on the tabbed docks.

my laptop is running windows 7 ultimate x86, 4gb of ram, core 2 duo t9500 2.6, and gf 8600m gt, but it runs like crapola, i even changed to only 256mb, lowest quality, looks and runs the same. maybe it's not actually chaning those options?

Absolutely, would be great if we could specify a different font color for selected/not selected tabs.
