Apple keyboard hacked

Saturday, August 1, 2009 by tazgecko | Discussion: Personal Computing

It looks like keyboards on apple computers can be hacked into http://www.digitalsociety.org/apple-keyboards-hacked-and-possessed/

With PC keyboards becoming more programmable and with cheaper design methods. I wonder how long it will be until some bright spark start hacking PC keyboards, if they have not already!

Apple fanboys [to pc users]: "You suck!"

Jafo [to apple fanboys]: "No, you suck!"

Actually...it's more correctly...

Apple advertising campaign [to PC users]: "You suck!"

Jafo [to apple fanboys - in response to news re hardware 'hack' of Macs]: "Welcome to reality".

Bang goes their holier-than-thou claim to being immune to virii, etc.

Hacking a Mac and getting a virus on a Mac are two different things Jafo.

My point is you said earlier:

Hacking is different to getting a virus. Macs are still immune to 99 percent of viruses because of the way the OS is designed to work.

Sure and Oompa-Loompa was a hoax.

You might want to let Symantec know this so they can take Norton Antivirus 11 for Mac off the market now.

Yes I did. But chances off that happening are slim. Especially now that the Mac community nows about it.

The only thing wrong with either of these two operating systems is the pricks who use them...
