Skin rating problem
Thursday, July 9, 2009 by az0th | Discussion: Stardock Support General
Hi,
I can still login, download and post, no problem, but for the last few days I can't rate skins. I'm getting "sorry, but only apprentices and WC subscribers can rate a skin" offering a "subscribe now" link. I subscribed last November.
No idea if the site being down for maintenace last Wednesday(?) has anything to do with it...anyone else getting this glitch?

I've had this problem for a few weeks now -- I can't rank skins because WC says I'm a citizen, even though when I got to my site, it has my honorific as Master Apprentice. This only happens in Windows 7. When I log on using my Vista dual boot, it says it has my correct honorific and I can rank skins. I've cleared my cache, cleared my cookies, ran CCleaner -- still the same thing.
I hope someone can help.
Or maybe things will be fixed for me when the new WC website gets out of beta.

Am using W7 and sometimes that happens to me but it happened when I used Vista also. I logged off WC and cleared out the cashe, temp files and the history. Then logged back on and off and back on and everything was fine.

I did that, too (logged off, cleared the cache, temp files and history)...still fails.
EDITED TO SAY: Ok...I lied...I can't seem to log out.

I've found that using CCleaner or any other similar program can sometimes cause more problems than is meant to fix. I stopped using it on my fresh install of W7 (had previously been running the release candidate) and have had zero problems.
And, in order to stay on topic, I will share that I have not experienced the problem noted by the OP. ![]()

I don't know if this is related, but when I first log on I'm listed as citizen. I have to go to my settings from my personal pageto fix it. I don't change anything there, just open the page and refresh. Then my rank shows correctly again
This may not be related to the OP..... if so, I apologize for hijacking the thread.
Worked for me Thanks for INFO
Thanks but did not work for me
