I really like the styling of a V-Rod but the cost is too prohibitive for me right now. It is one sweet machine and I'll definatly have one in the garage within the next couple years. With the economy as it is, I'm holding out for that perfect deal.

As for Honda's, the Gold Wing I have is in show condition and is made for the open road. I've ridden a alot of different motorcycles and I have yet to ride something as smooth and road worthy as a Gold Wing.

You do know what they say, most Harley riders have a buddy that rides a Honda...so they have someone to carry spare Harley parts.

And so do old hens!!!!

When I had my 750 Honda (first ever model) I could pick up chicks easier than falling off a slippery log when I was 3 parts pissed (drunk).  Thing was, with all that cheep cheeping, I'd get the strangest looks and questions like: "That bike of yours orright, mate, seems to be doing a lot of squeaking?"

I drive around on a motorcylce and I dread encounters with self rightous Beemer drivers. Apparently driving laws are below them.

ehh.. same sentiments here for kids on scooters.  They figure slaloming around light poles, nevermind cars,  is cool.

Back when I was still driving, what I dreaded was:

* little old ladies who'd get halfway across the road, see you coming and not know which way to go to get off the road.

* when somebody on the pavement stepped in doggy doo-doo, lifted one foot to inspect the damage and fell onto the road in front of you... true story, happened to me, not once but twice.

* people who take notoriously uncontrollable shopping carts 6 blocks from the store and were trying to push it down the street.

* oh, and getting pulled over to do a sobriety test, being asked to stand on one leg and falling into the road like those dimwits who stood in dog shit.
