2nd blind attempt

I began this new theme about 3 weeks ago.
I wanted to do a dark skin, but I didn't want to do glass. Glass can be over done. I wanted something more original. Also, I didn't want to do the black/blue combo. Though those colors look great together, once again, it can be over done.
Then I began to think back to when I first bought WindowBlinds... how I searched for a carbon fibre skin, and was left wanting...
When complete, this theme will also include ObjectDock backgrounds, a RightClick, and possibly a cursor (if I get the guts! 
)

wow.......100 times better.......... i love it. i know the orb has been done, and its been done by so many, but if you twist it your way to your style like you have done, it looks nothing like the original vista orb 
looks so awsome................!!!!

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys! I also appreciate the constructive criticism, as it has helped in a few areas (like the start button).
As far as progress goes--I'm probably 85% done with the Vista light substyle. Then I'll have to make the V dark substyle, then the XP versions...
Total progress is probably around 60% complete.

Oh, and I decided not to animate the start button. Seemed like overkill.

Here's an updated screen shot. Basically all that's left in the Light Vista Substyle are all the nitpickity minutiae that you just don't see everyday.

BTW- If you notice in the screeny above, my menus are supposed to have rounded corners, and are supposed to be nice and clean; and they are except for in Firefox 3. Can anyone shed some light as to why? What am I doing wrong?

im about 60% done too for my intoxica wb.....looks like we might have ours out at the same time.....*wicked*....im currently in residing in animation hell city.....seeing the end result is always worth it....its just the work involved....meh, ill get over it.

Thanks everyone! I've been using this (almost) every day since I began skinning it, and I like how it's coming. I can't wait for the dark substyle!

This really has all the earmarks of a Master Skin. It's a great, great skin!
As for the FF rendering?

It's centered by the edge and the first icon in quicklaunch, shouldn't it be centered by the edge and the first toolbar divider?
*shrugs* Maybe it's just me...
