Docklet docs: recently launched shortcut docklet possible?
Thursday, November 6, 2008 by planetLars | Discussion: ObjectDock
Hello,
there is a comfort feature not available in Windows I often have a use for: access to a recently launched shortcut. Windows XP start menu is nice but it shows the most often used applications. I need a pane where I can select the last started application for example. I often access an application from the start menu and close it after use thinking I won't need it anymore and bc I want to save system resoruces only to find me starting it over and over again. It doesn't warrant a quicklaunch or desktop icon however bc it's only occasionally the case that I am in need of an application or file often. It will therefore be nice if such a pane could be made available via a docklet.
Is there docklet creation documentation available or would anyone like to write such a docklet?
Kind Regards
Lars
