Object Dock Plus Has Encountered a Problem
and must close

Hello,
Over the past two days or so my OD has failed to run. It pops up with "Encountered a problem and must close" everytime I start my PC. I have save the error report if that will help. I don't know if there was a recent Windows Update that might be the cause but I hope it is that simple. I am on an XP machine and have had no problems until now. Please help!

It was definitely a Windows Update. I downloaded/installed a batch of updates yesterday, then rebooted. Thanks, all, for the posts! Helped me resolve it in about 5 minutes.

Actually I posted my last comment in this thread onto the support ticket and they sent me an email today saying they were glad I got it fixed and closed the ticket.
That might have been some kind of mistake. I will check on it for you. What ticket number?

I know the docklet isn't a part of OD itself but I'm still curious though what all of a sudden caused the problem.
