Hey im new to skinning and my attempt to make a big project crashed and burned soo now im asking for help on how to make parts of a skin so that i can get more into the community... the questions i have are
1. how to you use transparent pixels. do you need a transparent alpha channel.
A. if so how to i do it in GIMP
2. how do i use photoshop to edit a 3d image after i render it.
3. I dont have enough money to get an expensive graphics program... so do you know of any good free 3d graphics programs. im using wings3d
A. if this is the best free program (or really cheap one) than do you know of any rendering plugins.
4. should i draw things on paper before trying to recreate them on the computer.
5. How the heck do you use wings 3d because i cant make any complicated shapes with it. am all im supposed to use are the filters???
6. any useful tips.
7. who do i ask if i cant finish something on my own.
