Friday, January 4, 2008 by Coleshill | Discussion: OS Customization

Hi,

I have just upgraded to vista ultimate and do not like it... I still have my old CD key from XP Pro so I was thinking of downgrading!

I was surfing when i bumped into XP black... The new version has sp3 built in and a load of other stuff... Plus Ive heard its quick...

What do you think of it??

Ive got windows xp unstable and alcaholic edition. Not working on my pc though. Keeps crashing and complaining that my PC sucks. It went to counselling but that didnt help.

Well I'm spitting chips...got the Political Edition and it promised to be the most efficient trouble free edition ever. Damned lies, that's all it was... damned lies.

Word types up everything like a political speech...

Calculator always leaves me with a budget deficit..

Run just takes me to a video of lil Johnny's morning jog...

Search just takes me to opposition goofs, gaffs and blunders...

And it always answers a question with a question.

Fuzzy, so so funny. I split my sides. Mind you, you've got to know the Geordies to appreciate it. Great find and one to treasure.
Erk.

What about the 'combo' Black & Blue(as in reply #22) edition, nickname 'The Jolly Rodger'

'The Jolly Rodger'

Errr, it's Jolly Roger, actually.... a jolly rodger is something taken on a honeymoon.

Oh, And I heard about someone who ended up with the Student/Teacher Edition... apparently it raps you across the knuckles with a ruler if you type in any speeling mistakes...OUCH.

Of course, it's not an edition Zubaz would feel comfortable with.
