I am using Windows Vista Ultimate x86 and i also tried it out with SP1. And i am using CursorFX Plus.
1. It crashes a lot but at times when applying some skin and at times when just just normally browsing through. With SP1 it crashes more often.
2.in CTRL ALT DEL menu there is no cursor.
3.When disabling it cursor vanishes.
4.There is no where a a UNLOAD option. (ok i know not a bug
5.When the app crashes cursor vanishes.
6.The interface is bit sluggish at times.
7.When deleting a theme; the red X then the confirmation dialog and then the file is deleted but the entry remains and at times gets filled with gibberish text.
8.preview dialog box doesn't update with Dynamic shadow.
9.When UAC prompt appears there the cursor reverts back to Windows default.
I bought CFX as soon as it got released.. was waiting for it like almost forever.
Hey Yah... Merry Christmas.... Cheers all around...

I'm using Maxivista www.maxivista.com
when I turn on or off the extra screen, I lose my cursorFX cursors, instead I get frozen windows cursors (when I mean frozen I mean they are stuck in the first frame)
At that point, cursorFX is still running, but loading the cursors again doesn't work, then I need to close and re-load cursorFX.

1: dynamic shadow crashes CFX
2: if i move the mouse rapidly across the screen, it flickers to the regular windows cursor
3: preview doesn't update with dynamic shadow changes
4: deleting cursor themes doesn't remove them from the UI unless you restart

On Vista Ultimate, CPU usage jumps to 30 to 40% as soon as CursorFX is enabled. Sysinternals Process Explorer shows this is mostly due to Tabtip.exe which jumps to 30%. CursorFX itself uses up to 10%. After Ctrl+Shift+V, the combined CPU of these two processes returns to near zero. I have a Wacom tablet so need tabtip.exe.
A Google search came up with an old post saying that CursorXP has the same issue on the Tablet edition of Windows XP.

When used in conjunction with WindowFX3 the cursors are draw behind the WindowFX dropshadows making the cursors to look like they got transparency.

Hi,
Same problem for me. Unable to use CursorFX with Windows Vista Ultimate and Wacom Intuos3.
High CPU usage:

Cursor "blink" all the time with Tablet PC Input Panel:

I hope that you are going to find a solution or a workaround on this problem soon as possible, thanks in advance.

Showing under toolbars, menus, some apps.
Dynamic shadow doesn't work, though going from static from dynamic doesn't crash anymore.
Going back to previous beta too.

I use to have some cool animated cursors in my windows scheme, but when I switch from CursorFX to the windows cursors only the first frame is displayed, in other words, animated cursors are static.
Please fix this.

2) The dynamic shadow parameters doesn't reflect in the preview window, and also they are messy, sometimes they "do something" sometimes they don't...
3) IMPORTANT I've had this issue with CursorXP too... when cursorFX is running, sometimes you can see one frame of the corresponding cursor loaded in teh standard "pointers" windows applet. The workaround for that is to load the exact same cursors in both cursorFX and windows pointers applet, so when cursorFX let to show that other cursor frame, it will be the same cursor.
In other words, if you have cursorFX running and you have the standard windows cursors loaded, you can see one frame of that ugly white arrow when you click using the left cursor for example, the only way to avoid that is to load the same set in the standard pointers applet...got it?
Now...if you load a CursorFX package, since you don't really have them as ANI files you cannot load them in the pointers applet too...SO...I suggest stardock to either solve this bug for once and for all....OR...loads the cursorFX package in both applets automatically.
4) When releasing left or right mouse (with no effect added), the cursor animation starts again, this is not desirable with long cursors, I think stardock should make that an option.
CursorFX video
5) the editor is a bit buggy, showing screen garbage.
6) CursorFX makes the system slow under some circumstances, for example in firefox, if I want to add a ULR link right here in these forums, the mouse movement is sluggish, obviously the PC is having a though time with CursorFX.
...aside of that, I think is great, and I want to support as much as I can as beta tester.
