well yours to, could be viewed as a personal attacks but I took it, all in fun.

remember your the one that told everyone that I was going to give them the clap

but I can handle it when someone wants to dish it out and not take it as a personal attack but as a joke.

now I'm only working 1 and its eating rice and living in the dark at this point.

You obviously are spending money elsewhere that is far less important than having food and electricity. That's exactly the point I was making. People are living outside their means. I doubt you are making 5 dollars a month (which is about what it would cost to eat rice for a month). So you are either GREATLY exaggerating your situation, or you are living outside your means. For example, you are a Wincustomize subscriber. You obviously think that's more important than having electricity in your house. I'm not attacking you here, I'm just trying to make my point.

I have to agree. Our president has done his best work for this country. However, that's just not good enough. Lieing and completely ignoring due process and the LAW (Constitution) is definitely not good enough.

Also, for quite a few years now, Bush HAS been the only one making decisions. The Republican owned congress followed him like dogs and the Democratic congress has been completely ineffective at stopping the lunacy.

And for the subject of the article, Wal-mart has chosen to stand for something indeed. They've chosen to take the stance that they know better how to protect my famiy than I do. They remove the mature lyrics from music and buy tons of lead laiden toys from our friends oversees without working inspections. So, I CHOOSE not to shop there. I trust my own judgment MUCH more.

Maybe if more of us followed suit, the decisions they make would change. Maybe not. Not my problem anymore.

RPGFX: I feel bad for WebGizmos. I know he had a lot of health problems. I don't remember what they are now but I know how medical bills can put a burden on people. Walk a mile in his shoes before you start to preach to him. How dare you accuse him of "GREATLY exaggerating" his situation. That's cold Dude!

Well, if he's not greatly exaggerating. Then fine. But that just proves my point further. It he has so many medical bills that he can't pay for electricity, or eat anything but rice, then he has no business having a Wincustomize subscription. If the sub was a gift, then good for him. I'm not trying to attack anyone here, I'm just making a point. Medical expenses are a WHOLE different conversation than what's going on here.

One last thing... Webgizmos, don't take it personal. I don't mean any disrespect. I was just debating a topic here, without making it personal, and you brought your personal situation into it. It was not my intention to personalize the issue... I apologize.

The gun laws should be changed.

It's not the gun laws that need changed. It's the laws that deal with violent offenders, and those using guns, that need changed. Our justice system is a joke at best.

I have a friend who is serving 25 years in prison for killing someone in a fight. The guy he killed was high on meth, attacked my buddy, and pulled a gun on him. They started wrestling for the gun, and it went off. Shot the tweaker in the head, killed him instantly. So the gave my buddy 25 years for 2nd-degree murder.

Now how's this for a kicker? When I lived in North Carolina, a guy was all geeked out on crack, killed his 2 yr old daughter, and he only got 10 years in prison!!!

Our justice system isn't just a joke...it's a sham. Justice is not only blind, but apparently it's deaf and mute too......

More like there isn't a system of justice... sadly, Oz is following suit and has adopted too many US Gov't (do-gooders, civil libertarians ) attitudes to law(nessness) and (dis)order.

Let me be judge, jury and executioner for a while... I might get it wrong once or twice, but the next twit (who thinks a high priced lawyer is gonna get him off a murder rap) is more likely to think twice about committing the crime when I just hung/shot the previous twit... and his lawyer for the defense of murder.

The world has gotten too soft on vicious crime...shoot a few do-gooders along the way, then let's see how many are putting their hands up to lobby gov't for murderers, rapists and child molesters rights.

Sadly, the courts and what used to be the justice system has been perverted by large corporate interests... perhaps sodomising and beating the crap out of a few more executives, CEO's and judges would bring back true justice to the courtrooms.

Oh, and let's not forget public executions for lawyers who knowingly (oh fuck it, whether they know or not) defend those guilty of violent crime... hehe, law schools 'd be screaming out to fill the abundant vacancies created by those who are now looking for a real job/to do something productive rather than destructive.

starkers, I agree with you completely. And it saddens me that justice is no longer about right and wrong....it's about rich and poor....

Yeah, my thoughts to a solution may be somewhat over the top, but it just makes me angry ... no, fucking furious that there are parasitic individuals who indecently thrive and become disgustingly wealthy off defending other sick and demented individuals who care absolutely nothing about their fellow man/woman.

In fact, the entire (criminal) legal fraternity, including judges, thrives off the misery and misfortune of victims of crime, while giving far too much consideration to the mongrels who commit atrocious acts against humanity.

When they say in court: "All rise.", I'd feel like saying: "Fuck you! No way can I show such respect to a system that's far too lenient and frees society's worst offenders to continue offending again and again." The thing would be, however, for refusing to stand I would get a longer sentence than the rapist/child molester/murderer who's there for actually harming another individual.

Yep, the priorities are all wrong, but until those with the power to change it actually become powerless victims themselves, nothing will change.

Not that I'm religious or anything, but it says in the Bible that if you condone a sin, you are just a guilty as the perpetrator... in my eyes, the lawyers and judges who set violent criminals free are just as guilty/obnoxious as those they make their ill-gotten gain and living from... sure makes you wonder how the bastards sleep at night.

Starkers, I imagine it's hard to have a guilty conscience if you lack a conscience to begin with.
