The last one in history is:-
1.24a
-----------
-Added system tray support when in Vista
-Fixed small variety of bugs
-Improved WindowBlinds skin importing in Vista
No mention of what is in 1.24b...
Looking forward to trying this in Vista. Right Click for me is the only thing which makes Vista tollerable.

Tried it and it don't seem to work - very buggy still
Running Vista by the way.

I gather there is still no PNG support for RC - and its still magic pink and bmps
Thats a disappointment..would make skinning RC much easier if pngs.
Hopefully in the final release it will include this.

I tried it and it works! For the first time since moving to Vista, I was actually able to fully customize RightClick, without it crashing on me!
So far, I haven't dared to try the more advanced features (a.k.a. Widgets, Meters and Plugins) but I am happy with it as it is now.
...... can't get that grin off my face.....

RightClick is a great program but this is a skinning site and we like to skin but this so called "update" fails miserably in that department. Still no png support, bmp's and magic pink went out with the Ark and the default "meter" graphics look like escapees from someones pirated version of Windows 95.
Do we now wait another whole year for the next update for this program?

Is this the first time you've used RC ?
When you have chosen the " Use Windowblind Skin " it will not change until you see object bar import the windowblind skin.
You can try unloading windowblinds and going to the RightClick folder > WBSkinImport > Skin Repository
Delete everything in skin repository.
Unload RC
Reboot.
Sometimes its just a glitch.
Hope not...
I think the RC program could also update the few skins that come with the program...its the same old skins from when the program first came out...they are rather plain...you could add a few new ones that are a bit more up to date.

You may, you may not. If you were running Stardock wouldn't you go where the money is and get the primary programs like WB, SKS, Icon Packager, DesktopX, etc. updated first to work with Vista and still provide new things for XP?? And 64 bit support also?
RightClick is my favorite and most useful program, but for a company trying to be sucessful, it would be a low priority at this point in time I would think...

And it has worked fine with Vista even before this update for me...

Seems it's just me but I have tried the update twice and each time I get the same result. The main menu works OK but when I try to select any of the items, the sub-menu doesn't show.
This is using Vista ultimate with the latest betas.

I dont think any product that Stardock makes and charges for should be "low priority". That would be bad business practice.
I think it is Stardocks most useful application and I'm sure they would make lots of money on it if it was developed further.
Anyway Boss, good to see you back toeing the party line.

Yes and no. I used it right after it first came out, but this is a new install on a computer I've built since. XP Pro SP2 with the latest Right Click release.
I don't have Object Bar installed (I don't think it even existed when I tried Right Click before and, if I remember correctly, RC used the current WB skin back then). I take it that OB is now necessary for RC to use the current WB skin?
Thanks Fairyy~

Pic...you do not need Object bar installed..I dont have it either.
Its just that RC uses OB to import the RC when you have a blind up that hasnt used the RC skin yet.
