Ok, I'll try deleting the contents of the folder you mentioned.

Thanks for your help!

Pic, if the "Use Windowblinds Skin" doesn't update when you change Windowblinds then select another skin for a moment (close & reopen the dialog) and then re-select "Use Windowblinds Skin"

Give it a second or two to change before closing the dialog.

Your welcome

You can delete the contents of that folder anytime...It just puts the skins back there when you use that windowblind again...but when you switch to a new skin watch for the message that shows OB importing...Most of the time its just like Lantec said above..just highlight the option - highlight another skin then go back to that option and wait 30 seconds . It just does this from time to time.

Well that won't work. I don't have a Skin Repository folder under WBSkinImport

I have these folders: Common Arrows, DefaultSkin, StartPanel Skins, and Taskbar Arrows. I also have two files: WB3ToOBSkinConverter.exe and WBToOBSkinConverter.exe

I'll give it a shot, Lantec

If that doesn't work, maybe I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling.

No luck

When I click on 'Use Windowblinds Skin' I get the pointer with the hourglass for a split second but the skin remains at what I assume is a default.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no go.

Are you using Windowblinds 6?
I noticed when I installed 6 that a Command dialog was still active when it ask me to reboot and I waited on the dialog to close BEFORE letting it reboot. One of the items I saw scroll by (update) in that dialog was in the Rightclick directory.

Yes, I am using Windowblinds 6, but installed Right Click later (yesterday when the new Beta was released).

I do remember seeing the command dialog you mention when I installed WB6. I didn't pay attention to what was in it, but with RC click not being installed at the time ...

Maybe there are some issues with RC and WB6

I may try uninstalling and reinstalling WB6 to see if that does the trick.

Buzz,

Control Center, ObjectBar, and rightclick have never been skinning apps like WB.  They really are productivity apps that can be skinned.  Check out the history here: http://members.aol.com/JMB1984/MacVision

RC is a great app as it stands.  Enhancements are always welcome but you bought what it is . . not what is might be someday.  Fortunately, Stardock has a mindset of giving their users more bang for their buck in regards to updates.  It's just a fact of life that the flagship products like WB are going to get more attention.

I'd be interested in a new post from you (and the other RC's) with a list of enhancements you'd like to see.  Call it the "RightClick wishlist".  I have a bunch for Vista users.  And for both XP and Vista users . . there has to be some function that's more useful than "Erase Floppy Drive"

Sorry.

gef : Try other skins. It seems dependent on the skin if menus show up or not

This happens with all skins supplied with the beta as well as my prefered one - Ah well!

Okay, after re-starting my pc this evening I have the same problem. None of the submenus show up anymore.

Aktually, if You look closely :

Only happens when choosing transperancy. Setting Opaque 100 % solves the problem for me.

Yes, I can confirm this bug and the (short-term) solution for it. I tried various levels of opacity, but only setting it to 100% would make the sub-menus showing up again.

I agree, it'd be nice to be able to add a pop-up called "Windows defaul RC" and have it pull up the non-RC options.

Zubaz starts tinkering . . .

yep...thats always been one of the wish things. Although when on my desktop there is a key on the right next to my CTRL key that brings up the default desktop rightclick so im use to using that ..but it would be nice that RC program would include that - as well as the option to save configerations which has been a problem from day 1 ...and of course PNG support for those of us that skin RC. BMPS and magic pink just limit the type of design and transparency...

CTRL + RightClick
That's a great substitute/option . . but I would like it as a pop-up WITHIN RC
