Chicks on cell phones. As I was walking to class today I got stuck behind 10 slow moving bitches on cell phones. Now you ask what grinds your gears about that? Ok how about this? They weren't talking! All 10 of them had the cellphone up to their ears but not talking. I am not even sure they were listening to anyone. This happens all the fucking time. I get stuck in the hallway behind so bitch who is on a cellphone not even talking but just the phone up to their ear. Its as though there is someone on the other end saying, "Breathe in, Breathe out, Breathe in, Breathe out!" Why is it chicks do this? Do they feel inadequate without a cellphone up to their ear? And don't give me that, "they are listening to thier voicemail" bullshit. All the girls I know have never checked their voicemails. They only check text messages. Its even funnier when there are a group of girls walking down the street together doing the same thing. Each one completely silent. I didn't know the phone companies had a breathe assistance program. Girls must be constantly being put on hold if they are always like that. Hey girls! The phone is for communication so instead of stapling to the side of your face, put it in your pocket incase some decides to call your lonely ass.
And that is what Grinds My Gears

Men (and I use this term loosely), who refer to women and girls as 'bitches'.
Reference to your profile logo...you didn't do your job. I didn't laugh. I find it almost impossible to when women are referred to like that.

Thanks for that Po.
Truthfully though...there are people (girls, chicks, bitches, whatever) like that out there that just make me want to strap piranhas to my feet and kick people in the face (dA deviation that cracks me up).
I hate cell phones, I have one and rarely use it. Dumbasses using them while driving always pisses me off too. Hang up and drive! But then again I have a *very* low tolerance for stupidity. Unfortunately though, there are two things that are infinite in life: the universe and human stupidity. And just for good measure, another idiom: never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

When people are on the phone, for whatever reason I find they walk slower. People walking slowly in Manhattan seems like it clogs the whole city up.
That, and iPods. iPods turn people into zombies.

I'm kinda with Po on this one, too.
It's the language of the young and yet to be eternally single.....
Adamness ....I can believe that. Even better....wear a Bluetooth earpiece and you don't even need the effort of holding a phone to be pretending to use it....

I was going to re-read it . . but really can't be bothered. And now, Jukebox has an internal flag set for "blithering twit" next to his name

That being said, I don't think I've heard the term "chicks" used in quite a while - I thought it was pretty funny. The grinding gears joke was pretty good too. It's been a while since I've read such a "colorful" !@#$%* post, I don't usually use words like that in an online forum (in person... well that's another story
), maybe it's just me but they don't sound as good when it's written out. Plus you tone sounds just a tad demeaning towards the ladies and I realize you may not have intended that but that's how it comes across to me anyways and I'm probably not alone in that viewpoint. Might I suggest in the future that you don't mention the gender and simple use the word 'people' instead. IMHO the story would have probably sounded alot better.
.... but what the !@#$%* do I know anyways?!
