How often do you change skins?

How often do you change skins?
I particularly use Windowblinds and Iconpackager, and change skins anywhere from once to 5 times a week.
Often trying out what peeks my interest here on Wincustomize or Deviantart or somewhere else.
Am I in the minority here that changes it that often?  I am always looking for thet perfect desktop.

Are you really getting your money's worth out of these premium skins/suites?  Especially if you change skins as often as I do?
Has anyone realized that as few as 3 Master skins can cost more than the program itself?
I suppose if you get Object Dekstop and get one premium skin and use it for the entire year Stardock allows us to use the program then it could be worth it.  But who does that?

Been a member for 10 months now. # of WB's in my collection...would you believe 300+...
no lie....I do have that many. Not all in the themes folder mind you. I keep a separate archive folder for those skins I refuse to let go of. Total downloads...more than a gigabyte and still counting. So far I have an archive for WB's, smx, cursorXp and rainlendar. I did purchase Essorants #2 skinpack, Logika Suite and Universe Metal and they are well worth the price. As soon as the bucks become available there are a few Master skins I plan on purchasing. Besides...I really don't differentiate between Premium and Master skins. To me they're all outstanding works of art...and freebies...lets face it...there are so many freebies that are just as good...Paris WB by Boxxi...neOS and neOSB by danilloOc...Nautical Mile 4 by boopish...Muave Mist by jazzymjr...Muave Boost! Vista by UnckeRob and Sunken Treasure by kittymalone to name just a few.I could go on and on but you get the idea. BTW...once a day.

I usually change maybe twice a month, I tend to use the same theme for a few weeks until I see something (a wallpaper, windowblind) that compels me to change. I haven't changed iconpackager since Alienmorph came out, it seems to go with just about everything. I do change my Avedesk icons when I change the wall and wb so everything has a matching theme of some kind.

Mine is always a work in progress. I rarely use the same exact skin for more than 15 minutes.

i started using Beelzebub (by Boxxi) in WB about 8 months ago, and i still use it. I do download a lotta skins, but i rarely use them, although vStyler's SG-1 came close to knocking Beelzebub off my XP Pro install. I think it's just a personalization thing. some of us love it, some don't. whatever works for you is great!

oh my goodness...I'm a freak!

I'll keep the same skin for weeks at a time but I am very pickiy about the skin. I may go through 20 before I find one I like and that one will be with me for weeks or months.

Me too, but more so. Haven't been able to stand anything but Acrylic since GuiC, but at least it recolors excellently to match whatever else I use

You're asking that question on this web site? Skins are like, well, like sex. At least for a man anyway. You always need more no matter how much you already have and it needs to visually evolve.

I change my skins all the time. Sometimes it will be an entire desktop and other times it will be just one piece. Skins are a form of expression and fit perfectly into our way of life. I consider them in the same way I look at prints on the wall or the mixture of flowers in a garden or the plating of a meal. It is part of a larger framework that you yourself are creating. Constantly moving, sometimes forward or backwards, maybe in circles or spirals, it carries you along for the ride.

About as often as I change my underwear.....2 - 3 times a day.

And no, it has nothing to do with incontinence or other undy accidents Since moving from 12c - 20c to a much warmer climate [25c - 30c plus every day], it's essential to comfort.

Do I have a fav skin? Well no, not really....they're all good and I keep messing with combinations of skins & walls until something takes my fancy, then I save 'desktop as' in ThemeManager for future reference.
