New Doom3 Skin
Can i make a request to any one who is interested?

Hay all, even though i have been here for a day or so, but i have seen some OUTSTANDING peaces of work here. Skins, programs, and what not.. I would like to make a request for a skin if any one is interested. Now i know there is a Doom skin already out but i was thinking of more along the lines of an updated doom skin, i was woundering maybe, MAYBE! if any one would make a skin for me. Sense i dont know how to skin, and the link and tuts bulma posted in my "Cyclops skin" thread, well thats all fine and dandy but iwas looking for some one who knows how to skin quite well and have spent like countless hours skinng.
I would like to request a doom3 skin using picutres that are already out there and such by the IGN and in game vewers. Now i know some of you might not know what im talking about because some times even i lose my train of thought, but what imbasically asking is if any one would be interested inmaking me a doom3 skin for my computer...
Ummm. For starters i would like to have maybe this as the main desktop back ground for my computer
but with some changes to the back ground, maybe a few demonic imps and a picture of like the marine on both sides of the hell knight with guns blairing..
Umm for the icons maybe slightly more advanced if you could, and i like the cyclops bar on the buttom but instead of the red arrows pointing up and down in the curcle.. if you look, i was thinking maybe in the word "Start" change it to "Doom"
I would also like to see that when i bring up the programs menu
make it look transparrent so i can see through it, umm for the name above that you see like kain.. its actually kain607 but have it changed abit so that you see a cool animation behind it like in the "Signals" Skin
Umm if some of you or one of you would be willing iwould be most thankful.. umm also for the name on the top of the tools bar that you see when you call it up by pressing the start button could you please make something so that it some what resembls the "SAC" skin... i know this topic might get locked but it was worth a shot..
and for like the button that has the arrow point at it that you would see right here

I've thought about a Doom3 theme but there are flaws in your logic on this one...
A) Doom1 and 2's source code was released to the public by ID software. They don't really care if you use the graphics for other things. I think they would have issue with using the graphics from Doom3 at this time though.
It would take a LOOOONG time to do that one and right now I just don't have the time to dedicate to a Windowblind. I'm not that good at Windowblinds so it would take quite a bit of brushing up.

In that case then phoon im sure there will be another who will make a doom skin some day.. Sucks too because i was hopeing to have a more up to date skin for the doom saga...

If your referencing that i make my own doom skin I'm sorry but i don't know how to make my own skin and because i my lack of knolage i am unable to make one, the program you are showing me is quite the peace of work and so much to choose from, and because of that its intimidating to me. Plus I'm sure there is some scripting i would have to know how to do but sadly i don't know any scripting, I'm after all a newbie programmer

Everyone has to start somewhere man, the more you "whine" about not being able to do this because it's intimidating, the more people are going to NOT be willing to help you. Grab SkinStudio, open it and start playing with it. Do you think the folks here who make WB's just magically poofed one into existence? No, they read the tutorials, asked questions, tested etc. Stop telling us what you can't do and show us what you are willing to do...
