Upgrading my PC ram
Thursday, January 11, 2007 by Philly0381 | Discussion: Personal Computing
The computer is three years old has a P4 2.6GHZ processor with HTT and 800MHz FSB. I was trying to find what version BIOS I have, but forget where that info is.
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Personally, I didn't want to have to change any settings so I like your response. I should get the memory today. I ordered it online and got what I felt was a good price, 2GB of memory for under $200(US). I'll post back with requests for help if needed. Thank you.

I appreciate your response also, but it seems everytime I change settings in the computer my fat fingers get me into trouble!
Thanks

I finally remembered where to find the computer information, under Help and Support. System recognized the new memory just find. The system sure does fly when you bring up programs or shut them down now.
Gee, I wonder what else I can upgrade!
