WB is not still showing up in the notification area but it shows running in the task manager. Yes, I do have the option ticked for it to show up...
Now, when I choose any WB skin, it acts like it's going to load the skin but then the Windows Standard skin is loaded. After that, you can't select anything and you have to choose Vista in the Personalize window.
As I said above, had 5.5 loaded when I upgraded from XP to Vista today but when it didn't work, I uninstalled and reinstalled. That's when it started loading Windows standard instead of just doing nothing.
Sure would appreciate some guidance here.

2. I have to say while I love where it is headed for the moment I have switched back to aero. There is just too many glitches and lock ups to be usable on a constant basis.
This is why I need someplace to report this to so someone knows this.

Now that all key MS stuff is final (IE7, Vista, etc), can we please get the IE7 XP tabs misalignment issue sorted? or even better, if it's possible, could we get it skinned? (address bar buttons, tabs) please?

I'm running Vista final build 6000 on three systems (Home Premium, Business, and Ultimate). These were all clean installs. Lot's of bugs with WB 5.5.
Where, how, and should I report them?

You can post bugs here, or in the windowblinds forum.
Black Cat 77: RC1 is not supported. You need RC2 or higher.
dpxmedia: WB 5.5 for XP and Vista should be sorting out the IE7 tab alignment issue. If this is not working, please let us know.

At least it's not something wrong with my computer.

WB 5.5 Installs fine through Stardock Central. Select a skin and apply, it goes to windows classic display. Every time after that, when you try and launch WBConfig, I get a reboot notice saying WB needs the system to reboot...reboot and the same thing happens again. I've tried reinstalling WB 5.5 and still no luck.
Any ideas?
BTW, anyone else running WB 5.5 on Vista x64 successfully?

| The Windowblinds 5.5 beta is 32-bit only right now. |
Thanks for the quick response. You might want to put that in the WB 5.5 FAQ. It would have saved me a couple of hours work.
You also might want to add that it doesn't seem to work in x64 either.Update: Yup. I rebuilt back to x86 and WB 5.5 works fine on the same system. x64 is no-go right now.

"WB 5.49 beta
-----------------
This beta build is 32-bit only. Please reboot after installation of the beta, though that should just be a beta limitation atm. System information for the 32-bit XP build will report itself as WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.1 (build 81 x86)) , we haven't changed its version string yet. "

Answer: All of them. Even ones that don't include Aero. As long as your video card supports the DWM (any reasonably decent video card) you'll be able to get the full power of WindowBlinds 5.5.
