| Bug: The taskbar is two-high. You can resize it up (larger) but not down smaller than two-taskbars-high. You can sometimes get around this by moving the taskbars from the bottom to the sides and top and then back to the bottom again. Also in many cases, there is no resize arrow for the taskbar when you hover over the appropriate edge. Even if you mess with it and get it to one-taskbar-high, if you logoff or reboot, it's right back to two-high. I've tried several skins with the same result. It seems to be worse with Acrylic though. |
Update/FYI: This is related to the start-button glow. I've deleted this section from the skins and the problem goes away. The taskbar behaves 100% proper without this section in the skin.

The only issue I have now is with IconPackager not changing all Vista's desktop icons, just the 'Computer' & 'Control Panel' ones. Oh well, it's no biggie for now....I've got WB and OD Plus working fine and I'm sure a fix for IP will be found soon.

I tried other workarounds - unloading WB, disabling Aero to avoid conflict - but to no avail....WB reloads at startup and the only way I'm able to get Vista to boot properly every time is to uninstall WB altogether.
It seems that without WB installed, Vista is quite happy with the original drivers it installed upon rewrite, but when WB is installed it wants to auto update to the most recent nvidia drivers, which for some reason go into a loop and result in the BSOD.

imitation crabmeat: It is a combination of both. The software does not yet check if aero is set which is fine as long as you set skins from within WB. If you go outside WB while WB is running things can get confused.
