In memory of September 11th

A tribute

Sunday, September 10, 2006 by Frogboy | Discussion: WinCustomize News

Five years ago on September 11, 2001, 19 men boarded four planes in the United States with the intention of hijacking them and crashing them into important buildings with the hope of killing as many people as possible.

Three of those planes made it to their targets killing over 3,000 people. The fourth one crashed after passengers attempted to retake the plane after learning the fate of the other three planes.

For Americans, September 11th marked a major turning point for how the country viewed the world. For people outside the United States, the choices and response to September 11th has stirred a great deal of debate.  Even within the United States, there is a great deal of disagreement over how best to continue to carry out the response to the terrorist attacks and the growing movement of violent Islamic radicalism.

The people who attacked the United States were part of a terrorist organization called Al Qaeda. A radical Islamic group dedicated to restoring the historic caliphate that once existed from Spain to the far east, Al Qaeda considered the United States as an obstacle to their goals of turning "moderate" Muslim states such as Saudi Arabia and Egypt into fundamentalist Islamic Republics modeled after then Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. Their belief was that if the US presence in the middle east as well as its support of countries such as Saudi Arabia and Israel could be removed that they moved one step closer to their goal. They believed, wrongly, that the US response would be to withdraw its presence from the middle east just as it had done so in Somalia in the mid 1990s.

On this day, we at this site give our thoughts to the families of the men and women who died on that day. And we support the valiant men and women in the armed forces from the United States and other countries who are working to put an end to organizations and movements that support the indiscriminate wholesale annihilation of innocents.

We hope the world does not forget 9/11.  We certainly will not.

If this is the face of religion then our gods have some questions to answer

This is not the face of religion. It is the face of maniacs hiding behind religion.

RPGFX: You've hit it on the head, although Islam IS a religion of war, most followers are peaceful. But, as in every religion, there are radical people who twist it to their own means.

I really cannot believe you called Pichin an idiot...People are fighting so we are free to be idiots? You maybe should re-think that because the people fighting ARE idiots, the average IQ in the Army now is horribly low, this is a war where thousands have died and nothing has been gained, infact we now control iraq and wait..how did the heroin fields get back there? Hmmm.. 9/11 has been proven time and time again with EVIDENCE that is INDISPUTABLE that these "islams" or whatever muslims we want to point our fingers at, did not do it, infact it was your lovely government that planned this entire thing out to scare us into giving our freedoms away for "liberties" Today should be the national day where we remember this as the day our own government REALLY turned against us. Take today out and research the Patriot Act, their own little bill counter-acting the CONSTITUTION saying they can break into your house and take anything at anytime and we basically ALL are terrorists. If you are going to fight me on any of this, I DEMAND evidence. Do not come back at me with some stupid sentence saying "stop the bulls*&t" because that proves NOTHING. If you don't believe me, go look things up, I'm not like your government, I don't give a one sentence explination and then walk off, research everything I say, ask questions, do the homework.

Our own family and friends died today due to our government, what are we going to do?

MadMike25: you anti government statements would get you unwanted retribution in most other countries. You should feel grateful that there are people fighting, no matter you think they are fighting for, so you can say and write the things you do. No matter what you have to say about the government, you have the right to say it because of the young men and women of this great country that are out there doing their job. And that IS what they are doing, by their own choice. It may not be popular, it may not even be right, but their country asked them to do it and they are. So take time out of your ridiculously selfish life, spend the energy you do/did looking into conspiracy theories and just say thank you to a Soldier, Sailer, Airman or Marine. They are Heros. They are doing what you are not willing to do, so how about shutting it!

As an american, I am ashamed of a lot of people posting junk like that on 911. This is a solemn occasion.

I like to think of myself as a 'middle of the road' person in politics, but what happened that day wasn't Republican or Democrat. It affected ALL of us.

I remember my grandfather telling me about how the world stopped at Pearl Harbor, or my dad telling me about the Kennedy assasination and how it changed everyone.

I don't really care what Bush said, or what Clinton didn't do...What happened that day, happened.

Just my $0.02 cents

the average IQ in the Army now is horribly low

What study are you quoting from?

EVIDENCE that is INDISPUTABLE

Where's yours? If you refer to the tripe linked in #20 then your IQ must be horribly low to suck up bullshit like that. Some people believe anything they see as long as it "compliments" their own agenda. They provide no "EVIDENCE" only innuendo and try to "Compare" to something that's NEVER happened before.

go look things up, I'm not like your government, I don't give a one sentence explination and then walk off, research everything I say, ask questions, do the homework.

You gave no proof....no link to any real research.....you just rant and tell us to "go look it up"

I'm going to stop now because after this I'd get personal and that's not allowed.

Forgot this one. Heroin Fields in Iraq. Interesting concept. Where's the proof you speak of.

we now control iraq and wait..how did the heroin fields get back there? Hmmm..

Whoa! People!
These arguments and the airing of political viewpoints and/or conspiracy theories may have its place but it ill behoves any of us to use an atrocity such as that perpetrated 5 years ago to try to make our own personal views known.
I have very definite views about the motives of those in power and the reasons for the conflicts that America and we in the UK are currently embroiled around the world.
Today is one day I would carefully avoid expressing them.
Please try to remember that a lot of innocent people lost their lives on this day and their memory is not well served by such poorly informed argument.
Perhaps I will be labelled as a bleeding heart liberal but I find this bickering at the graveside very undignified.

Heroin Fields in Iraq

I believe he's referring to Afghanistan, but him being a conspiracy theorist, I don't expect him to be big on 'facts.'

While I don't agree with much of what the President has done (or any of it), I recognize that today is the one day that politics and theories and everything should be put aside. For some of you to even think about posting your conspiracy garbage on a post that is supposed to honor and remember those we've lost is incomprehensible to me.

Start another post if you must, but leave this one with it's dignity intact.

Edit: Garibaldi beat me to it.

Adam - maybe now a whole 2 independent sources have said it, that should be enough evidence for the conspiracy theorists!

The irony that all conspiracy theorists will never get/understand is that the reason they can spout their ridiculous notions is because of "The Government". And the two jewels that posted their crap here are typical uneducated children. (22 and 23 years of age) that haven't begun to live a life of any worth. They were in highschool when it happened (or just out) and didn't/still don't have any real experience in a world outside mommy and daddy's protective web. Those punks slept safe at night during those years because of stand up citizens like me and my fellow brothers in arms. I feel they can say anything they want, but they need to use their brains and find an appropriate place to post. Hopefully the admins will remove their posts and all that have anything to do with them, including this one, or move them elsewhere. For craps sake!

I lost a very good friend that day. His name was Steve Richardson. Please stop pissing on his grave.

On this day, we at this site give our thoughts to the families of the men and women who died on that day.

Cheers! RIP Steve.

I'm 19. It has nothing to do with age. It has to do with having a sense of morality and respect.

By the way, the "Popular Mechanics" anti-theories and such were proved tottally false and not scientifically sound in a video I watched explaining it all, considering there's been countless hours of evidence showing how the plane could not have downed that huge building, the buildings were infact made to withstand a total at minimum of 3 plane hits, this was one. Jet Fuel also does not burn hot enough to explode the WTC or melt any metal. How does an entire building go down in seconds when other buildings such as in mexico have burnt for days on end and left just a frame, and didn't fall? Explain all this. I can. The weeks before 9/11, the buildings were evacuated many times due to "power outages" and various other occurances, look it up. When they were evacuated, teams were planting demolition charges to down the building on 9/11. This is why if you watch the video CLOSELY, the building blows up level by level like a controlled demolition, and I know it's that, it happens JUST like any other i've seen. Those are some links to start you off, if you want more, please ask.

911 - A Modern Fairy Tale

By Douglas Herman
9-6-6

.....

Government & Mainstream Media Explanation of How the Twin Towers Fell

Once upon a time in America, the land of opportunity, a group of foreign guys at a Florida strip club said: "Let's get Korans and boxcutters and hijack airplanes and crash them into skyscrapers."

And so they did.

They bought flight manuals and lapdances, Korans and double martinis. They took flight lessons and bad photos. But most of all they flew badly and partied and flunked flight school.

"But how will we deceive NORAD," said one flunky? "And how will we get past airport security," asked another? "And how many millions should we invest in Put Options," said a third?

They discovered that NORAD and the Pentagon would be having some military exercises on the exact same day they chose for their mission. Although several top US officials knew in advance not to fly that day, nobody warned any average citizen.

Next the G-string jihadists outwitted the FBI. They outfoxed the Bureau's top officials by brilliantly exposing their plans to FBI field agents months in advance. The plotters seemed to know that the FBI head honchos would never believe their most patriotic field agents. Instead they would harass these agents long after the plot unfolded.

Next the 19 outlined their plan. "We'll get past Israeli security at Logan airport in Boston by posing as Arab terrorists. We won't even check in or show proper credentials. We'll just go right on through, like ghosts."

And so they did.

But one BIG problem vexed them greatly. How exactly would steel skyscrapers, seven of them, fall down once two aluminum airplanes hit them? So they went bowling and decided that the two airplanes would be like the bowling ball and the WTC buildings would be like the pins.

Still they wondered: How to make these massive towers, built with an enormous inner core to withstand 180 mph hurricanes, engineered to survive the impact of a jumbo jet, actually fall down?

So the 19 flight school dropouts put their minds together and thought and thought. The Newtonian laws of gravity and physics, and the long history of burning steel skyscrapers (None had ever fallen down before--or since) seemed to be against them.

"What if we make the Twin Towers pancake down," said one flunky, with a face full of buttermilk hotcake? The plotters were all eating a pre-dawn breakfast special with their bleary-eyed lapdancers. A group of Iraqi undercover agents, Saddam's finest, had joined them, savoring a short stack of blueberry pancakes. And so the laws of physics and logic waffled that day.

"We can also knock down the CIA headquarters in New York City, demolish the mayor's command post, and wreck the SEC records building while we're at it, crushing the entire building while smacking the structure with a few objects the size of an I-beam" said one bright plotter, remembering his Put Options.

And so they did.

The mighty Pentagon was next to fall. A fortress guarded by many layers of security, the trillion dollar war toy shopping mall seemed impregnable. But not to the 19 G-string jihadists.

They had discovered, by trial and error, that it was mush easier to fly a hijacked jumbo jet with screaming passengers than to control a small Cessna with a calm instructor beside them. The flew those jumbo jets like Blue Angels--except better--pulling ten G's before leveling off and smacking the Pentagon exactly where it had been recently remodeled.

But unfortunately for the G-string jihadists, the Pentagon bigwigs knew months in advance. The Pentagonals even published a report with a hijacked plane exactly in the center. They knew no hijacker could ever score a bull's eye---and they were right.

The flight school dropouts only hit the edge.

But by outflanking, outfighting, and outthinking the combined resources of the Pentagon, CIA, NSA and FBI,, the flight school dropouts had succeeded. Sure, they never received their certification in small planes but they had outfoxed NORAD, Israeli security and the combined resources of the US Air Force in the airspace over America.

And even more amazing: the 19 stripclub afficiandos had engineered their own deaths to look like deaths. Nearly half of them were still alive the next day.

Call it a modern mission impossible. 19 flight school dropouts who couldn't control a Cessna had destroyed seven heavily-insured steel skyscrapers and the recently remodeled wing of the Pentagon, while outwitting airport security, smashing CIA and SEC headquarteras in a 47-story New York skyscraper they hadn't even hit, while devising a brand new scientific "pancake" theory. All while remaining alive and forcing the entire US population to live in terror, utterly taxed for the unforeseeable future, to pay for the trillions in new war toys and security measures, in a fruitless manhunt to find the alleged mastermind.

In conclusion, the 19 boxcutter boyz were either the Ultimate Fighting Champions, or the the above account remains a modern fairy tale, fabricated by the very same people who placed those Put Options and demolition charges and continue to profit today.

USAF veteran and amateur historian, Douglas Herman is the contorversial author of The Guns of Dallas. He recieves mail at [email protected]

Think about it sheeple. Anyone with half a brain knows 911 was an inside job.
