Why would what be?  All I see is a high guest count which could be because of the GUI Champs site launching yesterday.

15-20 minutes ago ...I was the only member showing.

It's happened plenty of times. If someone navigates away from the main entry to the forums ...they no longer show in that list.

Does'nt mean we're not here though.

Oh please do tell, we're all in supenders wondering why....another conspriacy theory or whether there's something else afoot, like alien abductions of Stardockians?

I mean, the World has become a dangerous place since Bush and other leaders opened it up to free trade....ET's coming here thinking they can just take what they want.

And there's no point telling Fuzzy....he is one of those ET's (didn't ya notice the pointy ears?) with the power to make people disappear.

Then there be them Pirates n' their press gangs, shanghaiing innocent landlubbers aboard dubious vessels ta become buccaneeers....never ta be seed upon terra firma agin.

Sorry, TheGuyPC, I couldn't help myself! I just love a mystery mixed with a bit of humour, and you just opened the door of opportunity for some fun. But hey, I'm not out ta gitcha or anything, so please take it in the spirit it was intended.

BTW, I was very interested in your post about the audio cassette drive and looked into getting one for my system, but alas, nobody in any PC store here in Oz has even heard of them. Thanks to your thread and link, however, I've managed to get one ordered through my regular PC people. Yeah, the same job can be done via a hi.fi hook up, but I'd rather do away with all that additional wiring and have it all self-contained. Besides, it will allow me to relocate my hi.fi system to a more convenient spot, so thanks for the tip.
