How to use 'magic pink'

Tuesday, June 6, 2006 by vikram sheorey | Discussion: Skinning

Hi there. I understand the use of this (I think) i.e. to make the background come through a part of the skin but don't know how to actually achieve this.

I'm working on some logons and would like to see if it's possible to make the user account disappear so that the user can only see the user name, user icon, passsword entry field, go button and help button.

I've set the user account to the magic pink colour ( 255,0,255 ) as well as the back colour but all I seem to end up with is the PINK.

Is what I'm trying to do first of all possible and if so will it involve any code? If it does then I'll tell you now then anything to do with code will automaticaly fry my brain.

I would be very grateful for any help/advice even if it is something like 'it's not possible' or 'forget it'

Thanks

In Logon Studio, it's not possible to get rid of the background color that fades in and out without recoding. It can't be done with Magic Pink or in the LS editor.
