Display Panel shows only available skins are the *yawn same old windows classic and xp styles......
is there a trick to this or have I done something wrong...again????
I just reinstalled the skins I lost last time....while in admin. account...is that the only one I'm going to be able to use your beautiful skins in? It wasn't like that before!!!! I could use em in any of my windows accounts before!
Help (again please) squeak

The first time I installed it it was fine.....I was happily using one skin in my admin account for updates n stuff and another skin in my limited for browsing and just dinking around the web reading the news...and now I'm totally unable to skin anything at all in my limited account....but cursor xp still works.....I don't understand....I uninstalled and reinstalled and updated everything like I said in an earlier post....oh....I saw a whole slew of emails in my inbox from here....I deleted them because I thought the issue was moot......but that was before I realized I still have a problem ...now I kinda wish I'd left em there and read them
I am on the verge of doing what I did before....throwing away my fifty bucks and missing out on trying to learn anything......uninstalling the object desktop and just going with my windowblinds and cursors
what a stinkin' shame...that's alot of money

click on my computer
click on programs
Right click on stardock folder
click on sharing and security
click on share this folder with network
It should be working now.
Good luck

Be under an admin account then-
Open a command prompt, then go to your window blinds dir
(say c:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\windowblinds) or whatever location you have it installed.
When in at the dir at the command prompt, just type (can copy and paste into a prompt)
CACLS.EXE . /E /T /G USERS:F
Thwe above text is actually in a file in your window blinds dir. It.s called userpermissions.txt or something.
Anyway, I went through the same nightmare. I had reinstalled everything. Before that of course, all of Star Docks program worked perfectly, under al imited account, with me having to do nothing, it just worked.
But, after reinstalling everything, certain programs would not work.
Hope this helps.
