Hmmm now its working again... weird. Must have been a glitch from google then

Hi all, trying to get this working, read over everyone's comment a least a dozen times.
I am consistently getting 0 emails reported back even when I have unread emails. I can see it go from %s to 0 on an update. But it never seems to go from there. It worked for 1 day then just died. If I try the atom url I do get an XML file with a count greater than 0.
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling objectdock (down to cleaning the registry). Reinstalled MSXML a few times. Cleaned out sysstat and using the latest version I could get 2.5.10 from memory. Reloaded the google config file a zillion times.
I even tried it on a completely different machine ... still doesn't like it.

Can anyone help? Love the docklet when it did work that one time!

Ah .. don't worry .. played around with the config and somehow it's working again. Automagically.

I love this, thanks a lot.

Is there any chance of have a sound notification (custom), when there is a new email? That would make it perfect.

I downloaded this and it seems to be working but the image is not showing up. When I put my mouse over it it says how many emails I have and when i click the empty space it takes me to gmail but there is no image. Did i miss something?

Anyone else suddenly have the Gmail docklet stop working? Mine was working totally fine until yesterday. All the settings are right, but it still just says % Emails. Thoughts?

Format: %s Unread Gmails
Meter: GMail
Selector: count(//a:entry)

Don't know if it's been too long but i just installed this on my work PC and have a full registered copy of Objectdock. I have the Gmail plugin installed and can see the "stamp" with the number, but I can also see the outer parts of the circle with the question mark that was there before. Any idea how I can get rid of that?

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who has this problem but in the last couple of days it's not showing me how many emails I have. I didn't change anything to it in the last while & it was working fine. I know it uses a link to get the information from gmail to see how many emails I have but when I go to their website I can't find /atom/ns. Could it be that that path is not working anymore? Am I the only one having this issue? The shortcut works & everything but I noticed that I had 2 new emails that the docklet wasn't telling me about...
