but how do you set up the mail thing on the left side? and i got the same problem as MTPenguin.

Hotkeys are NOT an issue on my setup....perhaps due to a different build of LS [later than that in the Installer].
Comment out ALL references to hotkeys in the theme.rc...
;include $PersonalDir$hotkey.rc
;*NetLoadModule hotkey-2.0
and you'll be fine.
