I'm trying to set up an IMAP account. To set up an email client, I have to specify SSL (port 993) and an IMAP server directory. I was able to get the mail checker to connect by adding :993 after the server name, but it is not registering any unread mail, even when I know there is some. I think I need to tell it the server directory for it to actually find my mail. Is there a way to do this?

Well, I deleted all my email widgets and the cache and my temp files and even the stored email addresses in the registry. This widget is great looking but it does not work properly for me. I am on XPSP2. It gets the email count and updates it in the top window, but not the bottom window. Then after 15 seconds or so it goes back to "0" and say I have no unread messages! Is there an update in the future?

This looks like a really great widget, but it doesn't seem to work within Object Bar. Should it work? I runs fine, can be configured, displays everything properly, but never finds any new mail (and yes, I know I have new mail). It doesn't appear that it ever actually tries to communicate with the mail servers (I've configured both POP3 and GMail) because my firewall never tells me that an attempt is being made. I know that it should because other widgets (weather for example) in the Object Bar do cause the firewall to prompt for permission. Thanks for any hints! Dan
