Can't believe no one has commented. The visuals alone are stunning !

Yes only the visual ....

This is very interesting. Visuals, eh? Well, pepone seemed to smirk it and that is a good sign. She is one of the best DX theme makers. Her smirk could be jealousy. This one maybe worth a look-see.

Thank's for the comments, but please give me some input on the missing functionalities. As I am very new at playing around with DX... and it has some hefty bugs ( , I wasnt able to fully get the features I wanted in there (i.e. the upper section where the horizontal line crosses the screen was supposed to house a control panel with taskbar and systray).
Thank you for your comments.

The background is really cool, and has some of the best animations Ive ever seen in a DX theme. Here are a few ideas on how you could improve this theme.

1. Sound effects.

2. It would be really cool if you could have some buttons that toggles different objects over the centre of the background; these objects could be system monitors, clocks or other shortcuts. If you did this make them slightly transparent that would look really nice.

3. The two round screens could display some information, like a clock or some thing else.

4. Try and make a system try, and taskbar, if you don't know how to make them, export one from another theme, that is the size you want, and just re-skin it. Stat menu would also be needed.

Just a few ideas for you to experiment with.

I think this is one of the best DX Themes I have ever seen. I would love it if you could make it into a 1024 x 768 size please

any chance we'll see a multi res version? I'd love to see this in 1600x1200. Looks great.

I'll second the 1600x1200 vote!

This is superb, added loads to it whilst still trying to keep it uncluttered, mainly by alpha blending objects into background. Have the world globe in one of the round screens and in other 2 a couple of round zoomers, have also added the sparkling globe thing, lots of other round zoomers. Would like an email notify and on line/offline report and a start menu of some sort.

Great work

I am sorry, but I will not be able to produce a 1600X1200 version but I am working on a "clean" 1024X768 version.

I just got Desktop X and I thought that I was gonna uninstall it after trying some themes a friend gave me (UGLY). Then I logged on to this site and downloaded Vertige! Man I felt like my computer had a 23rd century interface.!! I love it! and I am seriously considering buying the software.

Danep, first I would like to thank you for your very nice comment. I am sorry but my technical skills are limited, I am very new at all this, I am trying very hard to grasp some of the visual tricks to DX to maximise the feel and looks of my themes, I do not have the knoledge to create an email notify and online report; As for the start menu... well you cannot imagine how happy I am that it is gone! Please feel free to modify it or send me any objects you might think would be usefull.

This is the best desktopX theme which i have come across so far. I just love futuristic interfaces! I was wondering when will the 1024x768 version will be done. I had a few problems with this one, mainly some of the icons in the notification area tend to disappear. The links in at the top right corner, seem to go invisible sometimes. And when i tried to configure the player settings, it gave me an error report. I'm still new to this, so these question might sound newbish. Anyway, i just love this theme!
