TaskBandToolbarBtn question

Tuesday, January 31, 2006 by aldog | Discussion: WindowBlinds

I'm working on my first windows blind skin, and I've made the Taskbar buttons brown, and most of the rest of my skin is brown and green. I'm trying to figure out how to make the TaskBandToolbarBtn blink a different color, like when you get an instant message in AIM or MSN. how it will blink to let you know.
I've opened the file and made each button state a different color, but it kept blinking brown. So what setting would it be to pick the color it blinks?

In the left tree under TASKBAR/taskbar buttons/flashing

Thats the image you want to make a different color.

perrrrrrrfect.
thanks night train.

I have another question, so i'll just keep it in this thread.

How do I make my startmenu have a custom background, like the DogmaXLink one has a pretty background image and all that, i can't even get my start menu to not stretch in the center.

The easiest option might be to create an image in the overall dimensions of the StartPanel (background only), then "cut it up" into individual images for the respective components, being sure to size each component to the pixel in SKS. That way SKS won't stretch anything & it should fit back together like the original image.

Cheers,
