If I have an animated icon, how do I make it the icon for My Computer? I tried setting it to shortcut to My Computer, but it doesn't work

what type of animated icon?

one to use with desktopx objects?
objectdock?
just a regular animated icon for the desktop?

It is an animated icon for desktopx. i already have it as an object, i just need to know how to use it as my "My Computer" icon. (ex. when I right click, it needs to have manage, properties of the real My Computer icon....)
