But if I voted to get rid of petitons on a petition to get rid of petitons wouldn't I just be perpetuating the problem that it is trying to get rid of? Wouldn't it just be an endorsement as to how useful the petiton is? Doesn't this fall into the whole 'Jumbo Shrimp' conundrum?

Maybe what we need is a Petition to petition the community to petition the admin's to do a study on petitions and submit a petition to the community that would petition their feelings on petitions before we petition for an end to all petitions.

I think we should have a referendum on this one, which means we need to petition the admins to implement such a measure do determine by consensus whether or not we petition to end all petitions.
Should the consensus go that way, then we'll have to petition the admins to find an adequate alternative to petitioning.
Personally, I think we should just have an idea/thought/complaint section, whereby we have a list everybody can sign if they want to.

I'm submitting a petition to put Tycus in charge of all future petitions..and am following with a petition that starkers not be allowed to use anymore words with more than 7 letters..followed by a petition that Tycus immediately review my second petition once the first petition has been approved and petition WC to install the necassary software to insure that starkers cannot assault us with any more big words in future petitions should such petitions be petitioned and/or implemented. Furthermore...I am offering a third petition..really an ammendment to the second petition that will be implememnted when the first petition is approved, that starkers explain that freakin' pirate thread in english or be kept from petitioning and/or participating in any future petitions. And finally, a petition to have starkers made the permanant WC Troll feeder..pending the passing of the first petition and regardless of the outcome of any other petitions previously mentioned in this post by said petitioner (myself) as petitioned.

Hey TYCUS..."We don't need no steenkin' petitions." I couldn't help myself after hearing a similar line in a movie once...something about badges.

I am petitioning that Tycus fix post #15 so it doesn't spread this post on petioning to stop petitions all across the page, preventing petitioners and prospective petition participators from reading and participating in this and all afore mentioned petitions in this thread partaining to the subject of petitioning with the ease that they deserve before they petition that this thread on petitions be removed out of hostility and frustration which seems to be a motivation and spark for petitioners to write petitions and submit said petitions to be signed and or initialed as the petition may require.
