Windowblinds doesn't start when computer starts

I can't get windowblinds to startup automatically after I shut down my computer and restart it. I have to manually start and configure windowblinds each time I boot my system.
Any ideas?

What is the version number of WindowBlinds 5 that you are using and did you install it from Stardock Central?

I just bought it a week or so ago .. it looks like version 5.0

it is 5.0 and I installed it from the download link in the email I received from stardock when I purchased it December 3rd

Could you post the System Information from the WindowBlinds configuration screen.

thats WB 5.00.001 - I just re downloaded and installed it after doing a 'destructive recovery' (haven't updated higher through SDC yet) - haven't been able to check if run on startup is working - still downloading updated drivers -- dialup


go here: Link. When you click the download link, follow the instructions. Once SDC is installed, since you purchased WB, you should be able to download any newer updated version of WB.

also, the not run at startup sounds like the trial version...if you had it first, it should have been uninstalled prior to installing 5

Also make sure you have "Show pre-release versions" checked in SDC to get the latest version of WindowBlinds 5.

oops...thanks hankers.

just did a restart for something else = WB5.00.001 auto loaded.

but now when I click on the top bar of a perpixskin I get a not so magic pink flash.
still appears on 5.00(.010
